I read two of the three cozy fantasy books by Kimberly Lemming and loved them! Glad you still talked about them even though they weren't 5 star for you.
🍑 A why choose/reverse harem series that I enjoyed is Beasts of the Briar on KU. It's about a modern young woman who stumbles into the fae realm and finds herself in a Beauty and Beast situation but with 4 princes.
My favorite read for February was Into the Heartless Wood, which js a very dark fairytale about a tree siren who falls in love with a human that is set in a very Ghibli/cottagecore world.
I appreciate how even if a book isn’t for you you explain why and who it might be for! It’s so fun to watch you continue to figure out what works for you as a reader 🍑 I was on a regency era romance kick in February and my favorite was Verity and the Forbidden Suitor by JJ McAvoy - hoping to pick up some FanRo in March!
Thank you as always for the recs ❤. As others have said, Bonds that Tie is the only why choose I’ve ever enjoyed… but it’s still why choose so if you don’t like that you probably won’t like it 😊
For why choose/reverse harem books I really enjoyed Ensnared by Rebecca Quinn. This is a rec for if you want spice! It's not fantasy, but it's a post apocalyptic setting. That setting gives you that high stakes sort of vibe that fantasy has!

My fav recent books have been the kindred's curse series. I started in February and am now 80 percent done with book 3!

My Feb 5 star standouts were Blood Mercy and Blood Solace, they're everything to me
I don’t have a fantasy romance book for my best book of February, but my best book in January is The Sword of Kigen. I think you won’t like that one it’s on KU and the audiobook was so good it’s a fantasy, but there is a trouble where this family is caught up in Japanese war.
I've almost finished Spark of the everflame and I've been really liking it. Thank you for recommending it.
11 books is pretty good going. I spent most of February reading Dune. Best wishes with what you choose to read going forward. I hope they bring you joy.
I didn't have any 5 star reads in February, unfortunately, but I would say that Ruthless Vows, Faebound, and A Fragile Enchantment were all really strong 4's! Hoping March is a bit better!
I definitely recommend checking out Lola and the Millionaires by Kathryn Moon. It’s a duet and it’s so good! 🍑

I read people we meet on vacation as well… I am starting happy place this week. Have you tried love and other words by Christina Lauren? It’s also friends to lovers and its dual timeline and loved it. It’s similar to PWMOV
Have you read Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac?? I know you’re a ZA girly like me soooo that’s the Why Choose you need to read if you haven’t!! Also Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep. The Twisted Sisters do RH like nobody else for me lol.

My fav RH fantasy/paranormal romances have to be
1. The Bonds that tie by J Bree
2. Kit Davenport by Tate James
3. Ruthless Boys by Caroline Peckham and Susan Valenti
4. Heart Hassle series by Raven Kennedy
5. Curse of the Gods by Jane Washington and Jaymin Eve
My first and still favorite Why Choose is is the Cupidity (heart hassle) series by Raven Kennedy.
Definitely try The Bonds That Tie by J. Bree. That series is fantastic! She is such a great storyteller ❤

Broken Bonds by J Bree, and I think you like her bc of the other book you read by her 'The crown of oaths and curses' I think. But yaa, I think it's also called "Reverse Harem", not why choose.
You should also maybe give Scarlett St Clair a try since you didn't like JLA, The King of Blood and battle gives me similar vibes to one of JLA's spinoff books Flame of the Embers. Or try Mountains made of Glass by Scarlett.

Glow of the Everflame was so so good I will be picking up the 3rd book like tomorrow, the problem is that the 4th book doesn’t come out until June 😬
🍑 Best read of February was definitely “Echoes of you” by Catherine Cowles!
As someone who 💗's pure slow burn, like a finger bush or heat from a thigh being a huge deal, i find why choose difficult because so many people means you can't get a true slow burn. Aslo if it's not poly, i still need everyone to 💗 each other, platonic love is just as wonderful as romantic 💗. I don't think i have found that perfect combination in a why choose yet.
I did however greatly enjoy The Blackened Blade (The Blackened Blade Series Book 1)
by Isla Davon. It's on KU. What i liked was the mc, she grows on you, she has true character growth but you need to stick with it. Aslo it is slow burn so far. Xx

I would say I’m not a “why choose” girlie at all. Like I was looking forward to reading twilight of embers and when you said it was a why choose I was like oh. Kinda bummed (I’ll still read it, obviously 😂) .
However. I recently finished The Bonds That Tie Series and I LOVED it. I was freaking shocked at how quickly I finished the series. I think i read all 6 books in 10 days or something lol. And the last 5 are 500+ pages. I’m now reading Crowns of Oaths and Curses (I know you’ve read this, I think you liked it? I added it to my TBR based off whatever you said lol) and I’m really liking it too! I think I just like the J Bree writing style.
Also. I read “Flock” the first book in the Ravenswood series and the first 60ish percent I was like wtf is this, but the last 40% was so good! I’m not 100% if it’s why choose, but it definitely gives those vibes. I haven’t picked up the next 2 books yet but I will be soon!

I have the Kindred Curse Saga on Audible! I can't wait to the first book in the series! I love slow-burn romances, especially in fantasy! The best book I read was The Wraith King Series by Grace Draven. It's so good!🍑🍑🍑
