मन तू मान शब्द उपदेसा~ संत कबीर :: Mann tu maan shabd updesa ~ Sant Kabir

"हे मन, गुरु के शब्द और उपदेश को मान।
गुरु की सारगर्भित वाणी और ज्ञान को समझ और उसका संदेश ग्रहण कर।"
"जाहि तत्व को मुनिवर खोजै, ब्रम्हादिक सो ग्यानी।
सोई तत्व गुरु चरनन लागे, भक्ति हेत कर प्रानी।"
जिस तत्व (सत्य) को ऋषि-मुनि और ज्ञानी लोग खोजते हैं,
वही तत्व गुरु के चरणों में पाया जाता है।
इसलिए, हे प्राणी, भक्ति के लिए गुरु के चरणों में समर्पित हो।
"प्रथमे दया दीनता आवे, हाँसी मिथ्या त्यागी।
आतम चीन्ह परातम जाने, सदा रहे अनुरागी।"
सबसे पहले दया और विनम्रता को अपनाओ, और झूठी हंसी और मिथ्या व्यवहार को त्यागो।
जब आत्मा को पहचानोगे, तो परमात्मा को जान सकोगे,
और सदा प्रेम और अनुराग में बने रहोगे।
"सब्दप्रतीत अौ सब्दकसौटी, निसदिन बिरह बिरागी।
जहँ को अर्थ तहाँ को बूझै, जहँ लागी तहँ लागी।"
गुरु के शब्दों पर विश्वास करो और उनकी कसौटी पर खरे उतरने का प्रयास करो।
जो व्यक्ति दिन-रात विरह और वैराग्य में रहता है,
वह हर शब्द का सही अर्थ समझता है और उसे अपने जीवन में लागू करता है।
"कहैं कबीर यह तन जो बूझै, मानै सीख हमारी।
काल दुकाल तहाँ नहिं व्यापै, सदा करौं रखवारी।"
कबीर कहते हैं, "जो इस शरीर (जीवन) के सत्य को समझता है और हमारी सीख को मानता है,
उस पर समय (काल) और कठिनाइयों (दुकाल) का प्रभाव नहीं पड़ता।
मैं उसकी सदा रक्षा करता हूँ।"
"O mind, follow the words and teachings of the Guru.
Understand and embrace the profound message of the Guru's wisdom."
"Jahi tatva ko munivar khojai, Brahmadik so gyani.
Soi tatva guru charanan lage, bhakti het kar prani."
The essence (truth) that sages and wise men seek,
That same essence is found at the feet of the Guru.
Therefore, O being, surrender yourself to the Guru's feet for devotion.
"Prathme daya deenata aave, haansi mithya tyagi.
Aatam cheenh paratam jaane, sada rahe anuraagi."
First, cultivate compassion and humility, and abandon false laughter and deceitful behavior.
When you recognize your soul, you will know the Supreme Soul (God),
And you will remain forever in love and devotion.
"Shabdprateet au shabdkasauti, nisdin birah biraagi.
Jah ko arth tahan ko boojhai, jahan lagi tahan lagi."
Trust in the Guru's words and strive to meet their standards.
The one who lives in constant longing and detachment,
Understands the true meaning of every word and applies it wherever necessary.
"Kahain Kabir yeh tan jo boojhai, maanai seekh humaari.
Kaal dukaal tahan nahin vyaapai, sada karoon rakhwaari."
Kabir says, "The one who understands the truth of this body (life) and follows my teachings,
Is untouched by time (death) and hardships.
I will always protect them."
