Hahaha!! I have often wished my go-go gadget arms could stretch far enough to strangle Kyle for not showing the fly…..yet for the same reason, he doesn’t tell you the creek his whipping…..same as mama not giving up her recipes…..the bros have helped my streamer fishing game immensely and we chuck 4g clouser patterns for stripers and musky down here….same sh*t…..different venue….)))
Honestly? I just forget 😂 I may go through 5 or 6 different patterns in a video and once one fly works I usually get so caught up in fishing that I forget to do anything else. Also depending on where I am or what I'm doing I may not tell the fly on purpose... much like I don't say where I'm fishing. But usually I just forget LOL
Honestly these fish were more chill than usual, also the rainbows in this stream are a little more relaxed than the ones in other creeks... have no clue why LOL
Well considering this video was filmed in WV I think we're fine😂 Get out and try your favorite local streams! I think you'd be surprised at what you find. These fish have lived through droughts in these mountains for the past 20,000 years.
I’ll be honest that was 100% an adult rainbow and a lot of the rainbows I catch in that creek look similarly. So I don’t think those are parr markings and if they are they stick around for a long time 😂
If you do that would be great, I personally really enjoy budget challenges. If you have time you could also do a pen fly fishing rod challenge. Thank you for replying though, it really made my day, I’m just now trying to get a fly fishing rod and get into it, and I got a lot of inspiration from your videos. Thank you again.
They usually start right around now (depending on elevation, some may have started a week ago, others may start a week from now) and then they're usually done by mid November give or take. Just be careful when you're out in these creeks any time during the fall and watch for spawning fish or redds, both are the key to the future generations in your favorite creek!
I this specific stream? It may be fly fishing only or at least C&R I don't remember exactly because I fly fish and don't keep them so it doesn't matter much to me. But yeah for brookies you can definitely spin fish for them, that's all I did when I was growing up. I don't think I caught a brookie on the fly until I was 20 or something like that.
providing all the cozy fall vibes 🍁
What a beautiful place, fantastic scenery.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it
Brook trout are absolutely living jewels...!
No doubt about it! Thank you for watching!
Beautiful fish in beautiful places! Thanks for another brook trout classic!

Back with some more brookies let’s go!!!!!!
Just wait til you see what the next video or two has in store😄
Beautiful sceneries, beautiful brookies. 👌
Thank you!
beautiful fish, thanks for taking us along.
Thank you for watching!
What insane fisherman you are. Beautiful creeks and woods.
Thank you so much!
Why do you not show us the fly you're using? It would be a great teaching opportunity.
Was a pretty good shot of his fly in one of the first scenes on the first creek. And he said he was using a jig steamer. I feel taught.

I don’t understand how all these trout are so chill. I swear the rainbow trout in California won’t stop squirming until they are released
Honestly these fish were more chill than usual, also the rainbows in this stream are a little more relaxed than the ones in other creeks... have no clue why LOL
I love your videos. Keep them coming. It would be nice if you showed us the actual flies you are casting.
Yeah I responded to someone else who said this and I'll do my best to start showing them off.
Great video man! I liked the extra stuff in this one showing us the cave and traversing to next spot
Heck yeah glad you enjoyed that!
Brook Trout are awesome! Enjoyed 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed!
Great opening! Didn't know you were a poet. Awesome Brook trout.
Thank you so much!
Awesome video, as usual 🔥
Glad you enjoyed it!
it’s not about the destination it’s about the journey😠… except when you catch a biggun🤩
Beautiful Brookies and that was a beautiful wild rainbow. And how about that pb brookie. Awesome as usual and always tight lines. 😊
Thanks Tony!! Glad you enjoyed the video
Music at the beginning 😍
Glad Helene didn't hit you boys too hard. Up here in NJ and the Catskills, water levels are crazy low still. Great video!
We were very fortunate! Thank you so much!
You've about got to get out of WV for brookies right now. The streams are pitiful from the drought. Thanks as always!

That's a big rainbow to still have parr marks!

What camera settings do you use if you don’t mind sharing? Aspect ratio, wide or not, FPS, etc? Thanks and I love your videos!
Im new to the channel, are you guys up in North Carolina? I know you said you guys were just north of where Helene hit
Hi John, another great video. Is your Renegade rod a 3 weight?
Yessir!
Please do a Temu fly fishing challange
Honestly never thought of this but I can definitely try it 😂

Nice socks
Gotta rep the brookie socks!
Do you ever do combo giveaways? Just asking.
Also, if I was going to get a fly fishing rod that is good for as cheap as possible because I want to try fly fishing.
Hey man. I was wondering, when do Brook Trout generally come off of spawn?
They usually start right around now (depending on elevation, some may have started a week ago, others may start a week from now) and then they're usually done by mid November give or take. @@hardmanfishing I really appreciate it man. That cleared up a lot of questions I had. Thank you so much😊
I know its more respectful to fly fish but is it possible to spinn there? With a small mepps or blue fox
I this specific stream? It may be fly fishing only or at least C&R I don't remember exactly because I fly fish and don't keep them so it doesn't matter much to me. Oh ok, yeah I mainly fly fish places like this but some days when flinging a fly it feels like I just started again @@hardmanfishing
Are those pant waders or are you able to wet wade?
I was wet wading! Good thing about tropical storms is they're usually warm
I don't. Some of us would like to see a bit more detail.
Can you have fishing address
Why are you messing with the brookies while they're spawning you know that's a no-no
Relaxxxx this video was filmed back in late September, no spawning was happening 😂
