I went to a garage sale where some sisters were helping their widower brother "get rid of" his late wife's craft hoard. I got 2 Sizzix Swivel Towers filled with 13 Bigz dies & one double-sided tower with the smaller dies which may have had up to 40 dies all for $10 ea. I got 30 Spellbinders NESTING "shapes dies & a few Memory Box dies " for $1 ea, 2 unopened Kaleidacolor inkpads & 6 NEW Brilliance Dewdrop sets for $.50 ea. I got 4 units of craft shelving with drawers/paper sorters/baskets/etal for $25 ea (never used), a Cuttlebug embossing folder binder worth $29 with contects included for $3. A Sizzix storage box filled with 19 decorative strip dies for $4. It was insane. They must have had up to 300 sets of SU stamps selling for $5 ea but I didn't buy any of those nor the boxes of punches that were from $2-$5. I went Friday am then Sunday PM & they still had a full hoard that THEY ARE GOING TO DONATE. They still had all those stamp sets. That poor man musta gifted his ailing wife with unbelievable thousands of dollars of craft items. Because I bought so much he gifted me with a $19 fridz bin filled with maybe 100 packages of brads for $2. One sister wanted that fridz bin so I'm gonna take it back to her. It was stupid of me not to give it to her on the spot.
Wow! You found some amazing deals on those punches especially those stampin up punches some of them are retired so you totally scored on that!!! You do very well on finding the deals. I hope I can find an estate craft sale one day. Thanks for the tips.
Outstanding finds Glo! How I wish I could go on those crafty shopping expeditions. At least I get to enjoy them through all of the YT videos. TFS and enjoy your new goodies.
Great finds! That is how I love to craft shop. Found one today and got a box of flat back pearls, new, some Want to Scrap bling, new and two boxes of Zots (sticky dots) new, and a Tim Holtz pick all for $13.00. Also found a spinning card rack 6' tall for $5.00. Sure beats paying full price. Love all the great punches you found.
Wow! What a haul! I rarely find craft stuff at estate sales but when I do I buy. Last estate sale I went to had stamps but they were priced $10 or higher so even when they marked stuff half down it was more than I wanted to spend (not that I need another stamp the rest of my life).
+Crafticakes7 I currently live in MS and for some reason I rarely find places that are into paper crafting. I will keep looking thanks for the tips. I just need to keep my head on a swivel.
Wow on the punches. Was this a private family run estate sale? So many in my area are done by companies for profit and the deals are not that good. I steer clear unless it is a family run sale.
No both were ran by businesses but they both were very reasonable.. I may try to go back to one today to see what they have left for half price.. Tfw! 😘
Hi Hun go to estate sale.org or estate sale.net search for your area and sign up for email updates...most of the time the emails will tell you if there is crafty goodness they also send pics that represent what they will have at the sale.. Hope this helps xoxo Glo
+Crafticakes7 okay, thank you! I have a lot of scrapbooking stuff, and I want more. (My family don't think the same way)😊 But I just everything about arts and crafts...
