What a great reason. I love Anne Green Gables. I can’t tell you how many different versions of that I have seen or how many different years I have books. It’s one of those things where if you see something you just buy it because it was just so well written, and, show the good and the bad side of people It broke my heart when Geraldine Page passed away during the series that was on in our area channel 11 WTTW on Sunday before supper. My daughter enjoyed those books where my son was a huge fan of the little house on the Prairie. They both have on their shelves in their offices, both of them have, their set of books. I always liked the fact that the kids chose historical fiction as something that they enjoyed reading. That way, although they were getting a great story they were also getting a great history lesson in the process and Babylon here for just another minute my brother when he was in from Washington took them to see Apollo 13. And they got very frustrated and upset during the movie becausethey Did not think they were going to survive what had happened. At that point, Mark realized they didn’t know it was a true story. I think they were nine and 10 as they were going out of the theater after course everything is fine uncle Mark said do you know that that is a true story that actually happened and they were dumbstruck. About 10 years later, the Lovell moved to Highland Park. And one of his sons open the restaurant there and as you climb the circle staircase to where the banquet rooms were there were all the pictures from the Apollo 13 mission along with other missions that commander Lovell had taken part in. He met you at the door. He was the greeter and we told him how did kids see the movie and they didn’t realize that it was a true story. And then they asked respectfully they even called him commander Lovell if they could walk up the stairs and look at the pictures. Well, of course they could in fact, he took them up by by themselves and he told them the stories of different things. I could not have been more pleased or proud of my children’s good behavior or the fact that they were going to learn so much from a true living, legend hero. When they came down the stairs, they were most excited and it was the conversation that was over dinner which I have to tell you was just wonderful. About 18 months ago they close the restaurant. I don’t know why as I don’t live in that area anymore, but I just think how generous he was, school-age children and what a difference he made in their lives. we never know who are what will come into our lives and bring a special gift.
I’ve never heard of a Fiscars cutting machine! I’ve been crafting for 48 years and I think it’s the only machine I haven’t owned! Looking forward to seeing how it works.

What an adorable job and Gilbert is a cute name. I bet there’s a story behind that. Congratulations to your expansion. In your family. A new pet is always a wonderful thing to have in our house. It’s cats. In fact, while my mom is back in Illinois for a few months and my sister was bringing in groceries. I can’t actually walked into her house and up the stairs and my sister took her back outside and the cat came right back in and went right to my mom who is blind But she knew there was a cat. Lisa took her to the animal welfare place to make sure she wasn’t chipped and belong to someone and she wasn’t so she came on the Monday of the lunar eclipse so that was what her name is eclipse and the gabbiest little thing you ever saw. I’m sure all the people on the airplane back to Washington will love hearing the cat but Mom 87 if she wants another cat who are we to say no to her especially one that just walks in the house like hey I live here.

I haven’t seen another copy of gone with the wind that looks like mine ever, and mine is a second edition printing. I would love to know even with it taped up it would be something that would probably be up moneymaker well not to me I’d keep it. That would be enough to motivate me but before I loved anything when I was a little girl, I loved books and paper dolls.
Oh Kristen, I am so excited for you. Don’t do anything to it. Just keep it. I know it’s a touchy subject now in our more modern world, but the book is the book and that you have a first edition that is amazing. I am jealous and I shouldn’t be because I was second edition, but you always want what you don’t have. Thank you again for showing the unboxing of the I bought a craft room. You gave me the idea to go forth and go through my boxes and see what I had and it’s gonna take a while but that’s exactly what I’m gonna do. I’ll never get out of it what I put into it and I know that that’s life, but there’s probably someone out there. Who’s just getting started the idea of picking up early machines and fresh new paper that they’ve never seen before will be a temptation that they can’t resist.
