Love your videos as you give so much info! I have the same size boy in black caviar leather for two years and wear it a lot. The caviar is wearing really well - looks brand new even the corners! Some caviar bags in the beginning were just caviar on the quilting and not on the edges. However mine is caviar throughout the whole outside of the bag and inside flap. I agree with you about the chain as the leather slides through the loops and gets stuck at times. But I like that it can be worn shoulder or cross body. I too, wish the chain was thinner but the bag wil definitely stay in my collection, as the price is up.I notice even their seasonal bags are over $4,000 in the US now and I find the leather on them is not as durable as the classics.
Thank you!! The caviar is most ideal. At the time I got this boy, only calf skin was available. I wish I got it in caviar, but then I wouldn't get it in the large diamond quilting. I'm just gonna have to be more careful of it when I take it out. Enjoy yours to the fullest!!!
Love your honest review. I think the Boy Bag is a gorgeous bag and I especially love your red colour. I think the strap is the reason that would stop me from buying this bag. But you never know as I love it's edgy look. Thanks for sharing. Xoxo
Thank you!! It is a very comfortable bag, but the chain could be a little more stable. I love the large quilting on this bag, which is why I'm keeping it. Its great to wear on casual days. I still recommend this bag though if you want to get the edgy look :)
Sorry to hear that you've had so many issues with your Boy Bag. I love mine & it's my most used bag, and when i use it, it's pretty much for the whole entire day. I've had no issues whatsoever & no wear on the corners either. Mine is completely in the caviar leather & the corners are also caviar. I noticed that the edges on yours seemed rather smooth instead of grained. Maybe it's the camera isn't picking that up. The only thing for me though is i wish the hardware of my Boy Bag was aged GH and not RH. I'm considering selling my Boy Bag only to get one in aged GH. If mine was in aged GH, it would have been perfect.
Caviar boys are great! They do show the least wear. At the time I purchased mine, caviar was not an option for me. I got this boy because of the large quilts. I still love how it looks on me. I just don't wear it as much as my other channels. The edges are smooth leather, the centre is grained. I love RH cause it doesn't show scratches. I love the hardware. Enjoy your bag to the fullest!! :)
