- Hey guys, I just got home from a short trip to Czechia, and had a chance to finally use my Loro Piana Extra L27 bag that I purchased a few weeks ago. I am really impressed with the construction and quality of materials of the bag, and while it is not for everyone I have really been loving it.
The video includes modshots, a brief overview of the bag, a demonstration of what fits inside and who I would recommend this bag to.
If you know any contemporary luxury brands, please leave a comment below! I find myself valuing quality & design over price point/brand name these days and would love to try out a contemporary brand soon.

Thanks for the detailed video. May I know if the leather is prone to scratch marks. Just wondering because certain leather retains nail scratch marks n cannot be removed easily

contemporary brands.. there's a lot! APC, Polene, Songmont, rsvp paris, liebeskind, wandler....I would be so interested to see a review of a modern brand from u 🥰
APC is one I knew about from before but it totally slipped my mind! I've also seen a few of the other brands around online and in popup shops in Japan :) Do you own any??
I totally feel u with regards to feeling bored with luxury brands. I'm also looking at contemporary brands now lol. The Loro piana suits u :)
Thank you!! I think contemporary brands have a lot of interesting takes on classic styles that aren’t as ubiquitous or commonly duped like luxury brands are. I’m really interested in seeing how the quality varies between high end luxury and contemporary leather items ☺️

A grained leather version would probably be more pliable and easier to use too!
I used to think luxury could only be seen from a distance. It wasn’t until I met luxrul that I discovered that beauty is so within reach.

Very pretty! Have you got caught in the rain with the bag? I am wondering if it will show water stains. Does it scratch easily?
Thank you! The first day in Prague was horrible with rain but I didn’t soak it and I was under an umbrella. Generally if you wipe away the raindrops with a dry cloth you should be fine! Scratches will show more on a smooth leather vs a grained leather but I think that smooth calfskin has a charm to it as it patinas and the scratches blend in over time :)

I got this bag in the palest color for our 19th anniversary. Love it but I believe it’s too light for daily use so I’m considering getting one in another color for fall/winter.
They have a beautiful burgundy color out right now 🙈

I tried Coccinelle and I didn’t like the quality, it felt very cheap. I really like Coach, they have a few models with no logos or C locks, I also like Furla, Longchamp and I want to try Le Tanneur next.
My first ever designer bag was a Furla tote from the outlet mall in Barcelona and I felt so grownup and proud 🙈 I have never seen Cochinelle bags in person but sad to hear the quality is not there 🥲 thank you for watching!!

Hows the strap after some time? The strap part where it is near the metal connecting to the bag? Did leather crack since is folded and rubbing through the metal?

It will show scratches easier than grained leather but I haven’t noticed it yet! Also as time goes on and the leather develops a patina I don’t think it will look bad even with scratches ☺️
Oleada has a good dupe of that bag at a reasonable price 😊

I love brown and always get it if it’s an option but the black is also very beautiful! I was caught between the two
I was deciding between the heritage brand color, kummel red, or the limited edition cinnamon/pumpkin color. I finally decided to buy asuki beans 🤎
