    Very interesting Gris; I haven't seen you pour before.
    Somehow I missed your last video, so today was a double feature. 55 new molds, incredible! The sandboxes is very good idea & the plugs seem like they are worth the expense & time savings. I want to expand from the leaf making this year and start doing some molds, so a sandbox makes a lot sense after the first couple molds. Thanks for the videos.

    Hi I just wondered if you could do a video on how to dip moulds into latex? Is it easier or harder than just brushing latex on the project? Thank you for your advice in advance

    Bonsoir mon mari, j'ai vu ton dragon dans le magasin et je le trouve bien beau, continue a faire de la bonne ouvrage, je suis tres fiere de toi....now figure that one out, lol...that's a nice strong frame built around that mold, I didn't realize that you needed to hit it so hard, I guess because it's a malette it won't break it but you were pounding it pretty hard....tfs

      Bonjour ma femme youtube, j'ai vu que tu étais sur facebook, et merci. I'm hitting to make sure the concrete flows into every little nook and cranny,that's why I tip it as well.

    Can you use a cement Vibrator instead of tapping sides after its filled?

  • @switcheezy
    @switcheezy 6 років тому

    If you use a creamier mix you don't have to hammer it all around or use a vibrating table thing... You just shake it a lil bit.

    Thanks for sharing your video! Can I ask for tips/tricks on what to do if your latex mold gets hard? Is there a way to soften the mold?

    Hey Gris. After pouring concrete in your molds, does the water sometimes end up pooling up at the top (around an hour later)?

    • @mrconcreteartisan
      @mrconcreteartisan  5 років тому +1

      That's referred to as bleed water.Not the most desirable affect.Usually means your mix is a tad too wet.Cut back a bit on your water ,or use a water reducer (plasticizer). If you get the water just throw some paper towel on top to absorb it ,try not to leave it on.
