I didn't understand... Basically data analyst meant for learning powerbi, sql, excel, In python mostly pandas ,numpy, matplot etc.. But why did did they asked other than what necessary for data analyst... And they should ask about dashboards or analysis part... But why they did interview in other way...
They came for campus hiring... So they didnt expect us to be good in any tools... They focused on python, sql , problem solving skills and our ability to quickly learn different tech. So they can teach us after hiring. That is what companies usually do when they hire from college because students mostly have generic knowledge.
Helpful video❤ I am not from a IT background and i want to become a data analyst and i am thinking of doing mca nxt year so is there any use of Mca in data analyst?. As it require python, sql, power bi and there are a lot of things in Mca which are not required for data analysts
Python and sql are the base for data analytics. You can become a data analyst with or without a degree but it depends on you and your skills. Be good at the data analytics skills and tools like python, sql, a bit of math, visualization tools, excel etc and apply to roles that align your skill level. Showcase your skills as much as possible. All the best
Hey sir ,please arrange these skills in descending order of weightage for technical interview + OAs SQL , Python , Excel , Visualization tools , ML basics
Python and sql are must... For freshers most companies hiring for DA role wont be expecting much knowledge in visualization tools but it is a plus if you have it. And they would expect you to have some knowledge in machine learning or AI. I am a fresher too so above mentioned are upto my knowledge and based on what i hear from people

I am actually very confused now , I learnt about SQL , Python libraries ,excel and powerbi ,as other sources told these are only things u required as data analyst , but according to you , a medium level python problem was asked to you in OAs , also in one of the comment you mentioned , DSA is important , how? I don't even know the basics of DSA , as i thought i wasnt required for data roles Please help , many of us are confused
Yes companies test our coding skills to filter out students who are good at problem solving as it is campus hiring. You ll be using python mostly so you do require a basic understanding of dsa. You dont need to be an expert
most of the peoples are saying that there is no job for freshers, is it right? if there is job then how much chance and percentage to get job as a fresher?
No you just need to know what it is... If you have more knowledge about it then its a plus. Apply on internshala, wellfound, and post your learnings on LinkedIn
