Wow! I'm surprised that JMAs would be closer to OEM specs than Ilco. Anyway, I believe that I once heard that early Ilco H75 blanks had the same issue.
Yeah, I’ll undoubtedly receive more hate about using JMA haha But, it’s good to carry a variety of blanks. ESP and JET are also good to keep on hand. Some guys carry JET over Ilco believe it or not.
Does this company provide a new locket? Say that the lock pinset has gone bad and cannot be repaired, can you order a new cylinder with a key provided?
@@resecurelatchyes, you can order a new cylinder with 2 keys from Salsbury. Oddly enough, it’s that new version where this issue becomes even more of a problem lol
Unfortunately, these cylinders are not meant to be rekeyed. You can tear them down and gut them, however as the cam isn’t made to come apart, Salsbury instead sells replacements with keys.
