German engineering isn't what it used to be. It used to be that one reason products designed in Germany were good was that engineers apparently put some real thought into human factors and ergonomics. "How do people use this thing we want to make?" I bought a Braun coffee maker some while ago and instead of using some kind of sight glass or translucent water tank like everybody else, they have this dipstick down inside the water tank and you have to use a small flashlight to see how much water you're adding. Real PITA and I have no idea why they did it this way.
That's aggravating. We've all been on the receiving end of a bad parts, tools or gear and it's a shame we are stuck with junk items. I've had my fair share and even if I can get it replaced, it's still a waste of your time dealing with it. Hopefully the shop can get a new one without additional cost.
I had spring-type auto winders stop winding before. I found out that if I need one with a 50-foot hose I need to buy one with a 100-foot hose. The spring and mechanism are much stronger.
Einhell is a low budget brand. Only bought their stuff a a student. However, since few years they have some better products. Point is, you have to know, what is good value-for-money product and what is crap. They produce both. Like Bosch, though on higher level. Brands that I buy blind are Makita and Festool (woodworking)
Yeah , I see more and more "quality" products that do NOT live up to the expectations ... and it's a jungle out there.. even if you WANT to buy high quality products you never know if it will live up to the expectations ;(
Old? You're still a kid to me. Thinking? That's a commodity that's in short supply today. Your neck of the woods? That be the upper part of the woods, right? Good video. Happy Motoring.

Einhell Angle Grinder I bought at the Lordco show gave out after a few uses... time to find a new/better brand.
You need to pull the codes and see what the computer says.

Thank you for taking the time to comment!
Einhell is a cheap brand in Europe. However this is kind of funny here we are trying to get tools made in Japan and US for the good quality.
I only buy tools from well known manufacturers now and normally from a store not online. There's too much badly made rubbish around these days.
I have a water hose holder with automatic hose winder but it uses water pressure to wind the hose. No battery needed

That's the one I have. I have had it for about 4 or 5 years sitting outside with no problems
Thanks for sharing!

If you want best quality... Then you buy Makita made in Japan. Usually only available to buy in Japan. 😂
Einhell is the worst garbage, no one is thinking in that company. Sad to see them wasting ressources again by producing crap.
