This is easily on of the best rides created in a long long time
The Intro just about made me cry thinking about all the good that used to be of the 90's, older disney shows & movies, and just life period. Disney can make you feel like that though but also very happy (:
At Disneyland California, everything you’re going on is a one of a kind historical achievement
I just realized remember Disneyland before 90s and Disneyland 80s pharmacy in side effects from Walt Disney company class starts in 100th birthday this year contact with them are in
I love this so much. Its fun seeing the Imagineers in their cameos. And there's some pretty funny lines in it too! "Ah! You know? This, this truck's been missing for about a month."
My all time favorite ride!!
Honestly, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion and Indiana Jones are my fav Disneyland rides and they are all pretty close. Been my favs since I could remember and I've been going to the parks since I was a baby, nothing will ever beat these imo and I can't help but ride them multiple times every time I go! 👏
Does anyone else find it weird how the actors play themselves, but still refer to "Indy"?! Hahah great video, so good to see how it was when it was first created! Kinda wish all the queue line features still worked tho…
They do, they just have a sort of recharge time in between uses.
Yeah I agree because the spikes haven’t been working since I was kid but recently when you push on it the sound comes on but the spikes don’t fall like they used to. The diamonds after with the collapsing ceilings haven’t worked even before I was born but apparently they were pressure plates and then the ceiling would drop so yeah I wish they were back.
One of the few to climb the coolest steps
Gee Micheal Eisner. Maybe that curse caused you to make all those DVD sequels.
Hahaha
Eisner was a fool to go that route. And I lost faith in him altogether when he decided to sever ties with Pixar in the mid-2000s. Glad that didn't happen and it was purchased instead.
10:02 Falling ice / ceiling effect now extinct
I really wish they kept that effect if they could fix it, but it would waste a lot of water.
Rip
that isn't the effect, but I know what you are talking about.
That part where the jeep is at is where you drop under the bridge
Indy laughing his ass off while watching his friends "almost" die lol
I remember riding Indy when I was 4 years old 1999 and I remember being so terrified but now that I’m older I love it
Only Disney would do a making of of their attraction with the original actors!
"With an extra extension chord, you could ride this to your local McDonalds." that would be AWESOME... :D
Definintely 1995
:D I love this ride so much, I remember when this first opened I was terrified right up until we got on the ride and as soon as it was over I turned to my mom and said I WANT TO GO ON IT AGAIN!!! LOL. For me personally the best time to go on Indy is at night, then you really get the full experience as your going through the Queue the torches are lit and it makes it a better experience.
1994 and 1995 are in real life riding on history of the documentary about biography book
You can actually see the Eeyore sign in the film room. Just look in the far back when you are about to exit, and you will see it. Really cool to look at.
I think I remember this now! This aired in wraparounds during CBS' airing of The Last Crusade! I know this because I watched the broadcast, it aired on a Friday night and I think this was the second week that CBS' usual Friday night lineup took the night off. They pre-empted In The Heat of the Night and Diagnosis Murder and the first week, they aired Roger Rabbit.
TV's show episode season CBS shows in Spanish language arts center spot on real life returns of reality reading ride it's coming back
John Rhys-Davies, bless you.
phoenixgoth love that guy
Indy has an office in the queue that has a copy of Life Magazine with Mickey and Minnie on it. Also two of the crates found nearby have references to Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Temple Of Doom flashback at the following:
6:07 Short Round: You said "stand against the wall!" I stand against it, not my fault!!
6:10 Dr Jones: THIS IS SERIOUS!!
The week before it was opened, annual pass holders were offered the opportunity to get a sneak peek and I kept and framed the guest passes and ride attraction "Pass Ports".
Probably could sell those for a decent chunk of change my g. Wish I kept my old Disney park shit, oh well. Life happens
im so glad you started uploading videos again
The part when it shows them on the ride is out of order the skeletons are on the begnning of the ride they show them near the end on this did anyone else notice that?
Fun Mythology Fact: Mara was the God of Earthly Desires, who kept mortals on the wheel of reincarnation and suffering through temptations.
He tried to stop the Buddha from achieving enlightenment, making him an enemy and devil-figure to Buddhists.
why can't The Disney Channel have this stuff anymore?
Because they're too busy injecting SJW and catering to girls only when the Disney dream belongs to everyone (In the case of The Disney Channel programs from 1983 to 2000).
@@mkaplan1383 Bigot 🤮
@@DraculaDillinger That's rich coming from you.
I'll give you the most logical reason: Globalists @ china
Picky people
Reason for that is the disrepair the attraction had fallen into. Luckily they just had a major 3 month rehab and it looks like brand new again and has been enhanced in the lighting department. Also you can't expect a cinematic production like this, which was designed to hype up an attraction, to match up to the real life thing. What they have at the park is pretty darn amazing even though they don't have the firework explosions like in the video.
i just saw it today it was scary cause i didnt expect it! I didnt know it changed thats cool!!
man she looks so young. Still great actor(ress)
I love that!!!! like a movie!!!!!!
I mean clearly it was an expensive project and I love how they detailed everything. When I was younger I was never really into this ride, but that was just because I was a pirates 4 year old xD. (I've been watching it since I could remember) but as I got older I started loving Indiana Jones and especially the experience, I think they have this I Japan and I rode it, and my face had the most amazed expression on it. I loved it so much! I swear Disney, if you replace a ride, please not this one.
Glad to hear they updated it a bit. Its always been one of my favorite attractions at Disneyland. I'm sure its such a costly attraction to operate... Wouldn't it be cool if they amp it up during special events??
I remember when it first open at disneyland park to small to get on it waited for a few yrs than I got on the ride
OMG Fran! to think I could have sat on one of the most amazing thrill rides in the same spot The Nanny sat in!
Nice
This ride is one of the reasons why Disneyland > Walt Disney World Resort. I can ride this for days, awesome ride.
New ride made in USA today TV series finale season start show hollywood story life of
Love this ride
To think so few people have seen this, and so many people claim that they want to see how this works.
The skeleton room near the end is in the wrong order because the skeleton room is at the beginning of the ride not near the end like they show in this
it's really cool how they filmed it on the acual ride. much like the tower of terror movie was filmed on the acual ride in florida
Yeah I like the tribute. Also there are references to Mickey, Minnie, and Obi Wan Kenobi in Indiana Jones' office as well, if you look closely.
Really wish it were that simple, but the ride system and the special effects are intertwined, it's much harder to add something than most would think. When they did the fireworks and extra effects in this video, they were controlled independently.
You know what they still have it at Disneyland park.
CubanPete1990 the indiana jones opened t 1995
@@ivanramirez7835 Hey that’s why they are making a new Indiana Jones movie!
@@CubanPete1990full house before
14:43 insert sully from monsters inc. Saying "well now there is"
Did George also put Easter eggs from Star Wars in the ride
It was built in 1995 on the site of the former Eyeore Parking Lot
Have you ridden it since it re-opened? The new lighting is better than what's in the video.
12:02 I feel bad for the guy who has to paint ALL of those skulls XD
Good question.
Can Universial Studios Hollywood and Mike Myers create and develop an Austin Powers ride that's similar to the Indiana Jones ride fro Disneyland?
If you look closely you can seem metal arms on each side of the boulder
KAREN IT'S A KNEW RIDE
You guys should add the fog again to the attraction.
the Nanny and Stephanie xD
whenener i go on this ride i always get the treasure route
9:38 Dennis Miller haha!
ITS MICHAEL EISNER
What office?
why indiana jones is not in the movie
I remeber when I went to disneyland I ask if mara is male or female they all give me diffrent answers these were the answers I got: male, female, and genderless
#DisneyDiva ❤
I wish they still had specials like this ... Sigh
17:31 They got future, huh?
if you did have a very long track you could almost drive that truck to your mcdonald's restauraunt
20:04 why does John sound like Waluigi?
My uncle helped with construction of this ride
!!!
I kinda figured. Oh well, one can only dream lol
No, it's at Disneyland. Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World has a stage show version based on the movie called Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!
10 paleontologist didn’t like that Archaeology is a way better ride theme.
John Rays Davies voice of Cassim the king of thieves Aladdin and the king of thieves
Karen don't look into the Eye!
Right? She managed not to look at the Ark but the eyes of Mara were TOO TEMPTING 😅
Is this at WDW?
No. It's at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. But DINOSAUR at Disney's Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida shares the same EMV technology as the Indiana Jones Adventure.
19:16
For likely the same reasom MTV no longer plays much music.
maybe next time next time you will get the future route

So much painting.....too much painting........all those SKULLS
anyone else really annoyed by the super high pitched noise?
The attraction isn't as visually stunning as they show it in this program. The lighting in real life is do generic looking : C
