This has to be one of Disney's best rides yet. The interior/exterior is so detailed and the imagineers did a superb job of capturing the time period.

Disney in the 1980s and 90s give me a certain nostalgic feeling and this version of the Twilight Zone theme says it all. One of the best versions of the theme yet.

The broken glasses... I remember that episode... some bank teller survived an explosion in the bank vault, he likes to read. e was beginning to enjoy the post apocalyptic event, but breaks his glasses. I cant exactly remember everything that happened in that episode, but I am positive I got the right one.

I love how much work and detail Disney puts into the design of each ride. To me, that's much more important than the thrill factor!

JayGatzVFXsk8r There was a back to the future ride at disneyland? and i think a lot of people like tower of terror however for some reason people think the ride is scary but its just fun in my opinion.the biggest shame is that people dont even know what the twilight zone is.if you go wait in line for the ride you can probably here someone explaining that the ride is partially based on the tv show.in my opinion thats just sad

I remember the first time I rode this ride at MGM Studios, I went to bed that night and had the weirdest dream. The elevator took me to like, 5 different worlds and I woke up the next morning not remembering that I was a human. hahahahaha

I rode it last month, during my trip to WDW for the first time. I've been at least 8 times and have always been terrified of it. If you get a +fastpass, you can't really back out unless you just don't show up, that's how I got myself on it. After riding it, it's my favorite ride out of all the parks. I ended up riding it again! I just recommend not bringing little kids on it, it's pretty scary for a child.
Bailey L Absolutely. Honestly, the scariest part is getting on and going through the line. Once you're on it's not bad.

They brought this to japan... but with changes... essentially you walk through what seems like an abandoned hotel (looking very similar to the haunted mansion), then eventually get seated in an elevator and are dropped what seems like 2-3 storeys ... not as thrilling...
I went to florida when i was 13 - none of my family wanted to ride the tower of terror, and my mum didnt want me going on alone - so i never got to experience it :-(
The Japanese one doesn't have a Twilight Zone theme, either
The french version is really good i think it is even higher than the one in California but im not sure all i know that it's my favourite attraction of all time

2017...i went about 10 years ago in Florida. I was so scared but my kids had to ride with an adult, so I got on. The lady behind me noticed my fear and said " when it feels warm, that that is right before the elevator is about to drop" this helped a lot because I hated being in the dark and not knowing when it was going to drop. I did not enjoy the ride at all bit my kids 8 and 9 loved it!

Spark Honestly I don't know why you're complaining, it's literally the same ride but with more technology incorporated and an Different theme.
And about the Universal thing that is never gonna happen. They can only keep what they currently have and cannot build anything related to Marvel since Disney owns it now. From an business standpoint, why the Fuck would Disney allow Universal to Use their own properties?! The only reason why the Marvel themed rides are still at Universal is because of an Old contract made before Disney Bought marvel and Disney cannot take legal action until that Contract expires.
And you better get used to seeing the Tower of terror be rebranded, as the rest will meet the same fate as the one in California. Disney does not want to depend on 3rd Party Brands like the Twilight zone, but that is not only limited to the Tower of terror. Because the same thing will happen with the great movie ride as the properties used in the ride do not belong to Disney.
So unless you got something else to say, I'm done here. And don't get mad about stupid bullshit unless you think In depth about Disney's reasons and Motivations.

I've ridden this ride once when I as younger, haven't ridden it in a while. After the first ride, it felt like I was going to vomit because I had this weird feeling in my stomach

I had just ridden tower of terror on thanksgiving of 2015. I am 12 and it didn't scare me, I loved it, but it scared my 9 year old cousin, she hated it. Not trying to give you guys a bad review, I loved the ride and I can't wait to go again

Angela Williams there is nothing to be scared of I always think that I might enter the twilight zone when I take a shower but my mom and dad said to me that the shower in my home is perfectly safe. And besides all that scary stuff in the ride is not real just fake no need to have nightmares.
Happy to find a version of this that's without commercials. And kudos for not stretching this video to the modern 16/9 size.

I was gonna go on the Tower of Terror when went to Disney World in 2019, but I did not because I chickened out! LOL. I kinda regret doing because I never got to experience one of the best rides in the Disney Parks. I can't stand the feeling of free falling! I think it's painful! hopefully I can train myself to get used to that feeling and maybe... just maybe... I might try out rides that have free falling, ESPECIALLY the Tower of Terror
