      @@SpecialOrder_937 You can find 'escutcheon' in m-w. look it up, it is an interesting quick read. My experience with escutcheon's are decorative flange fittings to go around pipes etc. when they stick out of a wall such as shower head pipes or supply pipes for sinks.
      Is that the word 'carry on' you are asking about?

    Bowls are the “in thing “ right now and I recently got my self a sewage block myself and have been pounding a few out for friends of the family
