Got my dad's being 3rd owner of I loved it handle traffic and ran awesome. The 3.0 L
Was good for lane changing in a fly and got 26 if you baby it.
218k timing belt let go after a rear tie rod rusted and broke.
Best be on the wheel and ready for a oil slick feel that happens

@@02SLERA Like a champ. I redline it on every drive. I only drive about 5K miles a year now. I am replacing the suspension right now. KYB top to bottom, new end links, and reusing the Eibach springs. The SE suspension was ok but I added lowering springs when I upgraded to 17" rims back in early 2000's and takes curves a lot better. The new struts should last me until 500K miles which should take 30 years based on my annual mileage lol

@@hansfranz9914 Awesome! My factory suspension is shot now at 205k, so I need to do those same upgrades. I have a set of 2013 Altima V spoke 18” x 8” wheels I’d like to put back on, so I may not have room to lower it. It looked really nice with those wheels actually, but it was rubbing too much. I think new struts will help. Would love to see some videos of your car if you make any!

@@02SLERA You probably need stiffer springs. I had my fender lips rolled to avoid rubbing. I wanted to get OEM struts but Toyota discontinued them. I bought all KYB parts and even those were hard to find as those may be discontinued now too. I haven't made any videos but will make one once my suspension work is finished. Upgrades to my camry have also included AEM cold air intake (my favorite mod since it sounds so nice especially in tunnels or in the city with the echo off buildings), custom exhaust, and reupholstered the factory leather which was cracked in the perforations. My original leather was light beige and now it is baseball glove color with dark charcoal center. I had the leather redone about 15 years ago.
