Just used mine for the first time today too, and it was a beast - especially for it being a single stage. Even took care of the big berm left by the plows at the end of the driveway.
Nice! It definitely is a beast! Those plows and I have a love/hate relarelationship 😂
I run a lawn care business and I have the gas version, a 724 QXE, As well as the single stage little brother the 721 QXE. The single stage clears better but they both suck in deep wet snow. I had a battery version, wet snow kills batteries. Got rid of it. My Ariens tracked two stage blows them away. Definitely a paid endorsement on your part.
I never got paid a cent from Toro. They did give it to me for a honest review. Utah snow was mild this year. Deepest slushy snow I got was only 3”- cleared easily. Deepest snow I got was about 8” and cleared my driveway no issues.
I bought my gas snowmaster 3 years ago. A half tank of gas will do 6"+ of heavy wet snow on a 60' driveway and 50' of sidewalks about 3 times. It barely uses any gas and goes through snow plowed up at the end of the driveway higher than the 18" intake.
That’s awesome! This machine is awesome, but yeah the only limitation is how long the battery lasts. This one 10ah battery is perfect for my larger driveway.
I like the benefit of being quieter BUT 100% agree. Replacing batteries in 5 ish years for 500-1000$ for many snowblowers - and limited run time is a hard pass “no go” in my book. Electric snowblower is not even a earth-friendly choice when the most 90% of them use is 7 gallons a year. Many other more productive ways to use 2grand for environmental benefit - hard to save environment keeping 7 gallons of gas a year being used.
If have money and do your own driveway then yah - enjoy that quieter machine.
Willing to change my opinion but going to be a bit for my 120’ x 40’driveway -
@@patricksquires77Yeah, it's not really about environmentalism or value, it's about quietness and ease of use and maintenance. Doesn't meet my needs yet but I think it's easy to see the appeal.
Only drawback I can see is I wouldn't be able to wake my a**hole neighbor up at 5:00 am with my loud gas engine one....😆
@@MrRebelss almost makes this not worth it if you look at it that way 😂
Cheehoo! Took care of that snow nicely.
I just used mine for the first time this morning only about 4 inches love I but I need more batteries you have any suggestions where to get extra batteries with the charger Thankyou
They’re not common on marketplace but if you find them you can usually get a good deal. Toros website sells them and I think you can also get batteries on Amazon.
good work brother 👏
Appreciate it! 👊
Which snowblower did you own before the Snow Master?
This is the first I’ve owned, but I’ve used a craftsman 2 stage, and some Power Smart blowers in the past.
I have a Toro Power Clear (gas) and was wondering if you had a comparison between the two. I bought a Toro mower last year so I could get a battery. Snowblower is next
@@LL-mt2nz gotcha. Yeah this thing so far has handled everything really well. My driveway is not small and I have been able to clear my whole driveway and sidewalks on one 10ah battery. Depending on the snow if I do my driveway and back patio I’ll run out of juice. I could easily do it all with a second battery.
Don't buy this. The plow guy came once last year and charged me $425 for the season. So I bought one of these and a third battery. I have run it three times including yesterday. It was thirty yesterday, so not cold not hot. Fortunately I have a hose bibb in the garage and hot water as this thing bogs down if the snow is wet. Chute gets clogged quickly and has to be cleaned out. Have not had a storm to date where this machine didn't clog up multiple times.
Dang too bad you’ve had bad experiences. How deep is the snow you’ve gotten? We didn’t have any deeper than 8” this year for our pretty mild winter. But any time I used mine it worked like a champ. My chute only clogged up once with one out very wet heavy snowfalls.
Did you work on ECO or NORMAL?
Normal so far. Most of the snow we’ve gotten so far has been thick and heavy
