- Approach and landing on runway 06L at Palma de Mallorca airport, Spain ( PMI / LEPA ), Balearic Islands. 4k quality. Airbus A319 cockpit window view.
Video includes ATC (air traffic control) audio.
First part of the approach started in the clouds. At about abeam the airflield, we broke out of the clouds and had ground contatct until landing. Due to the high amount of traffic, ATC provided radar vectors for the ILS (instrument landing system) apporach to runway 06L.
The final appoach part was flown over the mediterranean sea with views of Santa Ponsa, Cap de Cala Figuera, Portals Vells, Magaluf, Isla de sa Porrassa, Palma Nova, Portals Nous and the Cruise Ship Harbor. On short final, the city of Palma de Mallorca is on the left and the beach of El Arenal on the right side.
When runway 06L is in use for landings, all departures take runway 06R.
In addition to Son Sant Joan International Airport, there is another small airport on the island: Son Bonet Airport. Son Bonet is mainly used for small general aviation airplanes.

Hach schön, C46, war ich letztes Jahr auch angekommen mit ner B738. Safe ne Germanwings, kenn sonst keine Deutsche Airline die sonst noch A319 auf Malle geschickt hat. Fetten Dank fürs Hochladen, in Corona-Zeiten wenigstens bisschen was wenn man schon leider nicht auf die Insel kommt!

What's the taxing speed for an A319?
Most restrictive are usually the regulations of the airline. The airlines I know limit straight taxi speed on a normal taxiway to 30 knots and in a 90 degree turn to 10 knots. Airports may also impose additional speed restrictions. The final speed is up to the pilot and may be even much lower. Especially in slippery conditions, it is advisable to taxi very slow. In sharp turns 2 or 3 knots may be already more than enough,
