Introduction to Project Killawatt - Part 1 - ROYPOW 72V + NAVITAS!!!

In this video we get started on Project Killawatt. This cart starts out as a 2010 Yamaha Drive 48v electric golf cart, and will end up as a 72v off-road BEAST! We are using a Navitas 4K AC motor and 600 amp controller powered by a Roypow 72v lithium battery. This cart should be a WHEELIE monster that is capable of 40+ mph. 2015 RXV owner here. I dumped the lead acid batteries and converted to a RoyPow S51105P and a Navitas controller. I stayed with 48V but holy cow..what a difference. If you crank it up and ignore all the warnings..48MPH. All the forum guys cried foul..
