    You might be surprised to know that I’m not really a cat person. 😂 They seemed to be a staple of every Mallorcan village! Thanks for watching!

    Ashley, Your work is exceptional, informative, entertaining and beautifully shot. I salute your bravery hiking 7 miles along the daunting GR221 trail. Respect 🙇‍♀️!

      Thank you so much! Really appreciate the compliment. :) I’d love to go back and explore so much more of the island, including seeing other sections of that trail.

    Thank you! your tour just brought me back 60 years ago when I toured these villages with my mother who had chosen precisely these villages to show me the best in Mallorca (she lived in the hights of Santa Ponça). We did not do the hike you so courageously took: congratulations and respect. Congratulations also for your charming descriptions.... Again: thank you.

    Great video. We were there in February 2023 so not peak tourist season. Mardi Gras in Deia !
    Those with ANY motorcycle experience should consider renting a 125cc scooter in Palma and going
    up the route Ms Fasso traveled (or more). The views are better, parking and narrow streets are a
    non-problem and the road surfaces are great. And no prob with cyclists. Seriously. The best !

    Thanks Ashley for the the wonderful tour of Mallorca! You give a true sense of being there covering both pros & cons. I also try to avoid the tourist crowds. Agree with the economic benefits for the locals that depend on the revenue. I too am a tourist. As with your other amazing destinations I really love your early morning travels through country side villages! It is such a special time! As for favorite destination for this trip I so enjoyed them all but agree with your ranking with Fornalutx on top. Also loved your hike. That boulder scramble looked a bit unnerving! Also really liked that awesome hotel you highlighted. Thank you for taking us on your very well documented travels in Mallorca! You've given me so many awesome travel ideas!!!! Best Always.....Bob V

    Amazing video! Thank you for sharing! If you had to pick, between Valldemossa and Fornalutx, which one do you recommend? We will already spend half day in Palma and a night in Soller.

      If you want shopping and food, I’d say Valldemossa. Try to get there early or stay late. Fornalutx is much quieter with a lot less to do.

    I would like to drive there in the mountains. Do you think a 4 door normal car would do or do i need to rent an SUV for that?

    • @akfasso
      @akfasso  5 днів тому +1

      I’d recommend a small car due to the narrow nature of the roads.

      A good informative video spoilt by you calling the cyclists a nuisance. May is peak season for cyclists in Majorca. The fact that you at all times had to be aware of people cycling in front of and behind you is called driving with due care and attention. You make it sound like you have been put out to ensure someone else's safety. Maybe try the USA for your next trip. I hear it's a big old place with plenty of space for both motorists and cyclists.
