Hi everyone!
This past weekend, I embarked on a scenic journey through the heart of the island, visiting the picturesque villages of Sóller, Deià, and Valldemossa. Here's a glimpse of what made this trip truly unforgettable.
The freedom of the open road is stunning especially when you're riding a Vespa through the mountains of Mallorca. the landscape quickly transformed into olive groves, almond orchards, and rugged mountains. The Tramuntana Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage site, would take me through some of the island's most charming villages.
My first stop was Sóller, a village nestled in a fertile valley surrounded by orange and lemon groves. Sóller is known for its historic wooden tram, which connects the village to the nearby port, but there's much more to discover here.
A must-visit is the Jardí Botànic, Sóller's botanical garden, where you can wander among a diverse collection of Mediterranean plants.
From Sóller, we rode along the scenic MA-10 road to Deià, The road itself is a highlight, offering panoramic views of the mountains and the sea. Deià's beauty is captivating - its stone houses, terraced gardens, and narrow lanes create a postcard-perfect setting.
Deià is also home to several small art galleries, reflecting its artistic heritage. I spent some time exploring these galleries, discovering works by local and international artists. A visit to the grave of the poet Robert Graves, who lived in Deià for many years, adds a touch of literary history to the experience.
For lunch, we found a cozy restaurant with a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. The menu featured Mallorcan dishes made with fresh, local ingredients.
The final stop on our Vespa journey was Valldemossa, The village is perched high in the mountains, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
Relaxing at an Agroturism, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, offered the perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. Mornings were spent wandering through, and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere.
Visiting the charming villages of Sóller, Deià, and Valldemossa, is a beautiful experience.The combination of stunning scenery, rich history, and the thrill of the open road made this weekend getaway truly special. If you're looking for an adventure that's both relaxing and invigorating, a Vespa journey through Mallorca is a must-do.

We stayed in Valldemossa mid July with friends great base for the beautiful mountain area. Visited Deia as we have friends there, it’s a beautiful area been coming for many years
