Thanks for the video. I played Runescape 2 back in 2005 until roughly 2009 and just came back to Runescape (OSRS) a few days ago. Since I was extremely young when I played Runescape in the mid-2000s, I wasn't really paying as much attention to a lot of things as I should have. That caused me to now feel like a completely new player to the game. Thanks to your video, I now know enough to start off my journey through Runescape once more and feel a lot less lost. Again, thanks a lot, Theoatrix!

Thank You So Much! I Don't Played OSRS For 1 Year And I Forget About The Game And You Helped Me To Get That Feeling To Play This Masterpiece Again! Thank You Thank You.
I tried OSRS years ago but didn't even get past tutorial island. LOL! Since the mobile beta release...I really missed out. I am loving the game so far. Another "new" game for me to be addicted to. /sigh
Still not sure if I should start this again... use to play ages ago and eventually went P2P but after amassing quite a wealth and some of the rarest items in the game and climbing the ladder on the leader boards I was hacked and lost it all. Now the game I knew has split and changes in both versions. I hate the new version with my account tied to it and im still overwhelmed by everything after being out of the loop for so long that starting over seems to much. Honestly think im better off staying away forever even if I think of coming back. Good video though, the mobile version spiked my interest but the screen is too small to truly get into the game and the rest I just mentioned.
I was a defence main in F2P. One of the more dedicated skills, after that I had fishing. So when I became a member I had quite the good combat level and a fair bit of money from selling lobsters. Still thinking about doing it all over but will probably never go member again after being hacked.
+ burns0100 there is a way to avoid being hacked, really good password, pin, and RuneScape Authenticator... last and not least... don't give out your password nor go to any fake sites... and also there is one way u can get membership without a credit card, u can spend 4m on bonds which u can get it from ge and use it for membership. also another tip? before u finish rs for good, put all your stuff in bank so no one can steal it.
Ex Friend hacked me. We use to play at each others house, he must of set save password or something. Generally you wouldn't expect a friend to hack you but this one did had nothing of worth left on the account, don't think they had pins or authenticators at the time. Might look into the bonds thing if I get back into the game, 4m is nothing if I get back to my level and skills.
Her guides are fastforwarded in weird spots so you constantly have to pause to catch up, and she never tells you the best teleport to use to get where you're going. She just says "Go here", on the UPSIDE, she actually summarizes what you and the NPC's talk about so you get the lore still. It's a weird balance, but I still prefer slayermusiq1. It feels like I'm doing the quest with some friendly foreigner I met in the varrock bank. lol
@theoatrix OSRS, guide looks amazing. New players will actually learn from this. Apart from the typos ( that idont mind ). Theres one thing that might need looking into, at the end of the f2p skills u never mentioned that Rune mysteries is needed to craft runes.
I'm new too but idk if this is gonna blow up on mobile. It's too hard to move around to grind to high lvl. IMP That doesn't mean I'm not playing though lol
Thx, im seeing and hearing about runescape quite a bit nowadays, and it looks very fun. the first time i played it i was confused on what to do. this’ll help, thanks.
I'm a grown man, 33 to be exact. Started playing back in 2002, back when it was just Classic. The rune 2 hander was the best weapon at that time, and the party hats were only worth like something around 100k maybe less -- I remember Ardougne was just being worked on and they were just about to release dragon items -- I remember first exploring Lumby and meeting friends from school in the Cemetery "Our meet up spot". With our little group was a player named TKS. TKS eventually became one of the greatest and earliest forerunners and players of the game until the Zezima takeover. I've played this game on and off over the years never really resulting in any great achievments besides maxing out one or two levels, attempting to make a pure and a lucky instance where I somehow managed to catfish someone into giving me a white party hat back in 2006. I held onto this party hat and still have it to this day. I'm keeping it there in the hopes that it will be so rare in my 90s in real life. I'm about to seth forth on a new adventure on old school. WISH ME LUCK
Ive been waiting for the android release to return to RS after like 10 years but I was just wondering now... is the android client going to be just a client or a new server/version for mobile? Cuz I could start my account and play a little on pc while its not released if I wont have to start all over again on mobile (I dont have too much time to stay on pc).

I tried OSRS years ago but didn't even get past tutorial island. LOL! Since the mobile beta release...I really missed out. I am loving the game so far. Another "new" game for me to be addicted to. /sigh

Between this, path of exile and world of Warcraft I can kiss my life goodbye
@@johnmcmanus2447 I need to give PoE a better chance. I am still playing D2. I gave up on WoW after 5-6 years of my life.

PoE is really run, especially compared to d3. Its a lot less hand-holding and you can build around anything you want
My brothers have been playing runescape for 13 WHOLE YEARS.
Now I am playing, I love it.
Good video though, the mobile version spiked my interest but the screen is too small to truly get into the game and the rest I just mentioned.
burns0100 lmao who cares
U know ull play it.. im making my ranger pure for f2p pking i see you there bro
I was a defence main in F2P. One of the more dedicated skills, after that I had fishing. So when I became a member I had quite the good combat level and a fair bit of money from selling lobsters. Still thinking about doing it all over but will probably never go member again after being hacked.

burns0100 there is a way to avoid being hacked, really good password, pin, and RuneScape Authenticator... last and not least... don't give out your password nor go to any fake sites... and also there is one way u can get membership without a credit card, u can spend 4m on bonds which u can get it from ge and use it for membership. also another tip? before u finish rs for good, put all your stuff in bank so no one can steal it.
This video has saved my life, I no longer have to ask ridiculous questions about this game....for now! XD haha.
You should watch snuggle quest
Azy Plays no Slayer musiq1 is god
Unfortunately snuggle quest hasn't uploaded in a while so eventually you'll have to switch to slayermusiq1
oh yeah yeah
Azy Plays She should make more guides though. She haven’t made on in like 7 months
It feels like I'm doing the quest with some friendly foreigner I met in the varrock bank. lol
I'm 30 years old and just getting into OSRS. It's the ultimate "2nd screen" game. And very good to play when stoned.
I remember when i had NO IDEA how to lvl str and def. The good ol days
@theoatrix OSRS, guide looks amazing. New players will actually learn from this. Apart from the typos ( that idont mind ). Theres one thing that might need looking into, at the end of the f2p skills u never mentioned that Rune mysteries is needed to craft runes.
I havent played since i was 6. Im re learning everything
Welcome back !
I love the info- oh, and the trap remix runscape tracks are fire 🔥
Why do I think that this will be a famous runescape vid?
EG Phreak Because mobile may introduce a huge stream of new players into the game, and existing players advertise the game via word of mouth?
@@aggroknight4259 like me lol
Gandeldalf New to the game, you tell people about the game, or both?
@@aggroknight4259 I'm new
I'm new too but idk if this is gonna blow up on mobile. It's too hard to move around to grind to high lvl. IMP
That doesn't mean I'm not playing though lol
Thanks man I played wow for 13years trying osrs and jesus I had no idea what to do, this helped a lot
Thanks for making such a comprehensive guide,as a new player I found it extremely helpful.
Thx, im seeing and hearing about runescape quite a bit nowadays, and it looks very fun. the first time i played it i was confused on what to do. this’ll help, thanks.
Osrs is my joob ;D
Also:where is the vid for -rwt- Venezuelans?
I played when I was 8, I’m 24 now. I had no clue what I was doing before.
6 adds in a well done 30m video, I can respect that, carry on good sir!
Got to level 78...dragon armor etc than quit. Felt like work 😳😳
Tim Schultz you shouldn’t quit. You’re just now getting to the good parts!
Trying to learn osrs for my bf as he plays a lot. I do his fletching as its just spam clicking. Can’t wait to gain more knowledge
iOS isn’t out yet
thinkin about the long term :)
Theoatrix OSRS damn man. I already tought I missed the update 😬
@@marcelo2727 im pretty sure its cross progression so u wouldnt have to start over and progress will transfer. It will soon support cross play as well!
Ysael Delgado sick!!
okay I just have to say. I really appreciate u showing stats all being 73 except for herblore and runecrafting. having lvl 2 herblore was only an option back in the day from boosting with botanical pies and Rc is legitimately the worst skill to train hahaha
Rune and agil is the worst in my opinion
Us freetoplay players get screwed over so much

Great vid. Never played before and got it on my phone. Feels pretty great so far, been looking for an RPG on my phone and this is definitely the one
Has anyone else played RS for over 10 years (don't know why i'm watching this video), and never knew it was called Gielinor?... lmao...
Played this around 2008, just now saw that its comming to steam in 2 weeks. So looked it up just to refresh my memory. Thanks!
