It’s amazing what a coat of paint will do for an old piece of furniture! Let me know what you guys think 😊 thanks for supporting my journey!
That piece turned out so well. It looks so much better, you’ve given that ugly duckling a brand new life. Someone will love that piece. Great job.
Thank you so much Janet ☺️ I hope the new owners are enjoying it!
Very Pretty-- Nice Flip!
Thank you Jeannie ☺️
Love the simple classic look
Thanks Dodd! Sometimes simple is best ✨
Nice job!!
Thanks for following along shelcey!!
Bueaty well done
❤ thank you val
Looks amazing! I also like to put a coat of clear spray paint over the hardware so the paint doesn’t scratch 😉
Thanks for the tip! I’ve been meaning to get a clear spray for that 🫣
BEAUTIFUL JOB
Thank you!
Beautiful transformation Holly! You popped up in my Recommended YT alerts. Glad I watched. Great camera work and voice over. Nice and short but you capture your steps well. New sub to your channel! Can you advise of what brand of Respirator you are using?
Hey Tami, thanks so much for your thorough feedback! Its so rewarding to see our hard work pay off, or even recognized. Kendal, my boyfriend, is responsible for the filming and he has such a great eye for angles 🥰 the respirator I have is one from 3M, it’s the grey and navy one with the quick release flap so you can get in and out of your mask a little easier. Really worth the extra 10ish bucks!
@@hollysgarage Thanks so much! We need one so we will check it out. Looking forward to more content!
Great video. Beautiful photo staging as well. I would really like to know what wording you use in your ads to sell furniture. Like do you let them know that you repainted it? Do you list it as used furniture?
Hey TJ thanks so much for the feedback 🥰 in my listing, I’ll include that it’s refinished, and give a sentence or two about what’s been done to the piece (primer, paint, poly, etc). I will list it as used, but will emphasize the condition it’s in. Usually it’s like new, but I rely on my pictures to tell the customer what kind of shape it’s in. Hope that helped!
Nice job...With so many people saying you need to use this paint and that paint to paint furniture it can get confusing..Do you feel that regular latex paint is durable enough to paint furniture if you do all the prep work properly. And is latex paint the only paint you use to paint furniture? Thanks
Hey! I know right- I got so tired of hearing I had to go buy paint from one of like five furniture paint companies. The doors open though, maybe I am missing out on a whole new world of paint. I guess the rebel in me was just out to prove a point haha! I think as long as you don’t slack on prepping (clean, sand, prime), then you would be good to go. I have the most experience using Behr products which is an acrylic latex formula, which is supposed to be better than just regular latex. I have my dining table painted with wall paint that I did over the summer (takes a lot of abuse), and the finish is still almost perfect. No chips, peeling, just light scuffs from everyday use. So go for it!
This looks so good! Great job Holy! What $ amount did you end up selling this for? I’m curious what the going rate is in your area?
Thank you Jo Jo! This sold for $400 in 10 minutes after posting so whenever that happens it means you could have sold it for more. Hope you enjoyed the video ❤️❤️
@@hollysgarage that is incredible! However, you deserve it because you have excellent taste and worked hard on this to make it top notch! Thank you for your response and Happy Painting! Be blessed.
