- 🎥In this video I discuss how I am structuring my portfolio to fit in with my investing goals. We talk about bonds, cash, dividend stocks, and dividends ETFs and how those generate cash flow that I am targeting. My end goal is to have this portfolio yielding a steady stream of consistent and reliable income as apposed to capital appreciation.

Money doesn’t have to be stressful! I’m reading this eye opening book right now called “the emotions behind money” and it’s amazing. It’s everything I’ve needed in a therapist for years but haven’t gotten.
@@BrideofJesuChristo2 hy ! If u into that another kool financial book on the psychology, aspect that’s pretty popular is “ think and grow rich “
this was awesome thanks for sharing! would love to see a part 2 that talks about your collectable and other forms of investments!
thanksss! Yes i can do some chat about that soon
Love this kind of asmr! Have to admit that it took me out a bit when you said risk "adverse"; should be risk averse!
thanks! ahh i am confusing the words
I love that you have 80% of your portfolio in cash & cash equivalents - it shows great discipline!
disciple or being bad at trading/investing haha! Either way it suits my investing approach

12:30 wouldn't the bonds have even an overall lower yield as they are only compounded quarterly (while the saving account is compounded monthly)?
its more about the percentage than the frequency of the return since yields are calculated annually.
Aye you made a new one♡ Love it Thank you
that video was getting pretty popular and I learned more since then! Also the times have changes so things like bonds and savings accounts needed to be discussed along side dividend stocks
@ASMRSilentStocks honestly happy to learn more & dive deeper wonderful
@ASMRSilentStocks off topic. But I invested on mattel as my first stock for just a try. I'm not expecting much, might actually lose. Do you have any opinions on it or specifically when to sell?
@@faisha7628 i do not know really anything about mattel from a stock POV. I know of the company tho. Doesnt hasbro own it?
@@SilentStocks competitor of mattel
When are you going post a 2024 video? I been waiting bro 😭
ahhh i should soon!
When you say cash you just mean a savings account right
pretty much yes. Either savings or cash within a stock account.
how do you buy bonds? do you buy tlt?
i buy US treasury bonds on the US gov website TreasuryDirect. And I buy corporate bonds through my brokerage account with TD Ameritrade. I dont plan on ever buying bonds thru an ETF. That doesnt make sense to me.
@@SilentStocks why so??
@@rackjim Treasury bonds are offer a higher yield than TLT without any of the added risk. TLT's price can fluctuate which contradicts the purpose of a bond in a portfolio. TLT in my opinion is purely for trading and not meant for long term holdings. Thats my thoughts in a nutshell!
