      Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. This strategy has allowed me to navigate the financial landscape successfully, making informed decisions on when to buy and sell. Perhaps you should consider a similar approach.

      I’m 77 and still working full time. I do enjoy my work, it provides me with purpose and has secured my financial future. Most people are too eager to retire as early as possible. Even if you do retire early, best to get a part time job for the reasons cited above, as well as following many if not all of the suggestions in this video.

      It's recommended to save at least 20% of your income in a 401k. My adv taught me to estimate how much you should save based on your age and income. I've been with her for years now and her decades of experience in the markets translate to chunks of value in so may ways! She has upscaled my portffolio and even got me reading self help books haha

    Frugality lets you maintain a balance where only your priorities come first , leading you to a secure financial future. I’m avoiding debt , saving and investing around 40 percent of my income. I have a high paying engineering job, and I live upstate MN. since covid my expenses are extremely low. I have zero debt on a 7 figure portfolio, low rent and car paid off. So i can just save. feel lucky and grateful my fiduciary came into play.

    Love you Rose, but for $2,350 a week (which is $122,200 a year), you need (for example) $1 million getting 12.22% in passive income (dividends/distributions/interest payments/etc) a year.
    Basically, it's a three step process:
    1) Create the base amount (and re-invest any passive income)
    2) Once base amount met, use passive income for expenses
    3) Later in life, rebalance portfolio into high yield / depreciating NAV ETFs (like YieldMax) to let the base amount slowly reduce while receiving massive passive income monthly. This is like a reverse mortgage, except you'll still have a base amount (even though not as much) to provide via will when you pass away.

      Putting well-earned money into the stock market can't be over emphasised for first-time investors, unlike a bank where interest is sure thing! Well, basically times are uncertain, the market is out of control, and banks are gradually failing. Remember it is passive income we are talking about here…. If you are trying to quit your job just off of investing, of course you will need money, it takes money to make money but lets not forget she did say it is realistically whatever you invest and for those who dont know compound interest goes a very long way as well, this is passive residual income to build wealth overtime, not for you to think you will have stable income weekly/bi weekly or monthly from this business.. the more you invest the more you make just be smart because that is not always the case 👍🏼 hope this message changes some thoughts to some.

    I currently have a decent military pension and medical benefits. In less than 8 years, I can retire from my second career with another full pension. A few years after that I will be eligible for Social Security. I have no debt, and I have investments that pay around $1,500 a month. Unfortunately, this type of retirement is next to impossible for today's generation because employers don't offer pension plans, housing prices and loan rates are sky high, and inflation is eating up a lot of people's savings.

    Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.

      People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyperinflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.

    • @HenryLucask5l
      @HenryLucask5l Місяць тому

      Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.

    I have been working for a pretty good decent paycheck, but I work two jobs because I like paying things off quickly and not owing anyone any money, and I'll continue to do that once I have everything paid of and have enough financial cushion saved. I do want to finally end having to work for someone else and be able to take time off to be with family and travel whenever I please. I just am still rather scared to jump into any of these strategies until I have something to fall on just in case anything fails.

    That said, as others have pointed out, $50K invested with a 5% dividend means apx. $208/mo... paid out in 2, 4, or maybe 12 payments annually depending on the fund...? If you are paying rent or a car payment with your passive income you are living exceptionally frugally indeed! ♥

    • @user-zl5gn5lg6
      @user-zl5gn5lg6 Місяць тому +7

      First, not all are taxed. I was in a similar dilemma two years back. You should probably consider something that takes less time to do or something you can outsource most part of. Investing in REITs or Stocks are top on the list for that as you don't necessarily need a lot of time for them and if you use a Fiduciary you may literally do nothing. I make close to twice my regular income from stocks this way and I still maintain my 9 - 5. Goodluck.

    Great concept for passive income, but realistically, you need a few millions to generate such high weekly income. For majority of people, it takes 20-30 years to get there, and you need a JOB/source of income so you can have leftover money to buy dividend stock.

    Warms my heart to see the younger generation embracing what a recent generation completely rejected and realizing this is a key to long-term financial security. I am Generation X. We saw our parents slip into retirement, completely unprepared, and I swore this would not be me. Then came another generation that decided to ignore history, which means they are doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past. I’m glad those right behind them are a little more enlightened. The earlier you start the better off you will be in the long run.

The Great Recession only reinforced these insights. In hindsight, I wish someone had guided me earlier. A well-defined entry and exit strategy is essential for success in the stock market.

And so sorry but they're missing millions and millions of the customers money, as they are now being sued because some people are receiving back less than pennies for the dollars in their accounts. The most popular investment portfolio strategies include diversification, where you spread investments across different asset classes to manage risk. Another is the growth strategy, focused on capital appreciation through high-risk, high-reward assets. Income-oriented strategies target regular income from dividend stocks or bonds. Finally, there's the value strategy, seeking undervalued assets for potential long-term gains.
