Cell has a DOWN + SPECIAL move that is pretty cool. He lunges towards the enemy while shooting Ki blasts low. If you edit or redo these videos you might want to include this move. Thanks for all your hard work!

I did the slide move when I first played with Cell and instantly thought of Bison whooping my ass in Street Fighter 2 with that damn "Bison slide" oddly enough that's what made me pick Cell as one of my mains lol. I always call it the Bison slide now.
The slide kick is actually 2M not 6M. 6M is supposed to be the universal overhead.
Pros and cons of cell:
pros: If you ever make it to evo, the crowd will scream with his intro.

Cell's lvl1 super is also useful because you can use it to counter cross ups since the explosion also hits behind you. Instead of blocking the cross up, you get a free super.

I had to type this man, EXCELLENT GUIDE! Covered all the good moves, you put in your own input, but lastly the one I found the most important, you showed the inputs for BOTH systems so it makes it a lot less confusing when you think about the combos for your own system, ik very small thing but you excelled on these series of videos more than anybody else has on these DBZF GUIDE videos from what I have first seen , when I started looking for guides, bravo

So you're telling me, he as a free combo extender in the air and in the ground, a HUGE reach, a huge range of zoning tool, a free teleport, and mix up capability, and a bloody anti-pressure field? What the heck is that? Sounds broken. As if Dr Doom had got some extra moves from Hulk in MVC3.

you know what I wanna say why do people look at it like cell is to good if you grew up watching the show not even just that but think about it it makes sense that cell would have these types of moves given how strong and confident in the show he was because goku couldn't beat him right think about that ?
Cells ranges grab only works at that range. To avoid it you wanna be in his mid range or close to him.

The basics, would be nice if you went over the advanced level of cell. I believe majority are around that level at this time.

The SLIDE LOW KICK is DOWN + MEDIUM in the full version of the game. ;)

Shahzore Faheem in this game there's a such thing as combo scaling, essentially as you continue a combo the damage you would normally do lessens. For example say LP does 5 dmg, but if you hit someone with a 5 hit combo (I believe regular attacks cease to scale at 6 hits in this game) and do LP in the combo it might do 2 dmg instead (this isnt the real numbers just arbitrary ones for the example). A reset is delibrately stopping a combo to reset the combo scaling thereby dealing more damage.
The other way reset is used aside from damage benefits is deliberately cutting a combo short in order to get a mixup. Essentially, ending the xombo prematurely so that you can continue a different combo on your follow up, thus, making your opposition have to guess what move you're going to do.

The Full Ground Explosion is actually called "All Clear" in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse games.

Cell seems way too good. He just covers so many roles, with great range, damage, mixups, and a decent enough assist. He just seems so braindead.

This game is so frustrating to play, I win only a few out of very many and I can’t find anything to help me with it. Even this video doesn’t help me.
Bumblebee Tuna competitive fighting games require practice and patience, you're gonna get bodied a million times but if you wanna win you gotta get back up a million and one
Bumblebee Tuna once the game is released u will have more time in training mode to get your combos down
what i do is start the match with a super dash and spam buttons lol make sure to block. im still trying to use supers but i mostly just rush and button spam. i always use frieza last because he's pretty good and sometimes i can pull off a good super move randomly. my team during the beta was Gohan adult first, vegeta second, and frieza last and it was a great team. i moved on to Goku black, hit, and frieza but goku black and hit is a little hard to play
Justin Elswick You're right. I think how SFV played out I doubted myself but I'm working on it and getting some wins often. Right now I'm just figuring out what characters work for me. Thank you for the vote of confidence, it helped man.
Keep training dude, find a team of fighters that suits ur playstyle eg. zoner or rush work on powerful combos. Tip remember ur assists it's a button press away it can get u out of a combo stopping an onslaught giving u chance to break away. I work on defence every day I redo all the tutorials just keep me refreshed as the pace of this game is extremely fast with multiple button inputs and stuff happening on the screen. Good luck and dont give up champ!
