Seriously, Krillin, Yamcha, and Tien all have such unique abilities and Krillin specifically has so much ingenuity in how he uses all his moves, those three honestly deserve the spotlight and ridiculous power ups more than just about every main character. Glad they're given lots of love in the games.
Healing and 5 meter specials? Krillin actually looks pretty useful in this game!

small correction, you don't input a direction to change ki blast direction. If you start on the ground it will always go up, then come back down. If you start in the air, it will always go straight down.
They way you describe the character if true means that the devs really did a great job designing this character to fit with his actual role and place in the series
I hope someone mods the game so when they use Krillin’s assist the TFS Krillin shouts

It should be noted that after a few patches, you can now use two different commands for either senzu beans (214+attack button) or for rocks (22+attack button)
They should also have the abriged VOs!

Maybe even mod it to where if you try to heal Vegeta, he throws a rock instead saying "what? You think I'm just giving these away?"

That's a very good breakdown. It's amazing how Arc System Works managed to make even a character like Krillin being so interesting and fun to play. Same for Nappa and Yamcha, they look so fun as well! :D

As a krillin main: I love how he plays like he acts in the source, using his smarts to defeat incredibly powerful enemies instead of raw power.
Was the ki blast assist removed from the final build of the game? Ive tested it after all 3 senzu beans have been thrown and he still just throws the rock.
I was wondering this as well. I can't get it to work either. Really disappointed about that cause I wish his arcing ki blast was his default assist.

This game captured krillin perfectly, in DBZ he was never a threat because of his power but because of his techniques
There should be a sighn showing u if he'll thro a rock or a bean
question: so the rotation of the senzo bean is separate between assist krillin and krillin on the field?
I feel like this video is missing a strategy with Krillin so I will put it here. On any hard knockdown, you can throw a pebble from the air. You can use this to perform pebble 50-50s. This is actually very reminiscent of SF3 projectile taunts or Chipp's shuriken taunt from the GG series.

Channel9001 but the people behind dragon Ball super have seen DBZA and are fans, so it'd be no surprise if some of that influence rubbed on the writers
From what I've seen, dbza has had an overwhelming influence on the franchise, everything from making fun of yamcha in super to references in this game

Wuo people on this channel really love boruto shinobi strike, well probably naruto in general because i think that game doesnt look that good, more if you compare that game with fighterz but you can see all the views he gets on the shinobi strike videos is really interesting how people work
olman salas shinobi strike is for anime fans since they tend to play more casual 3d brawlers and rpgs. This is a fighting game, I'm guessing his fan base wasn't built on that

Oh god auto combos are such a cop out I hate their entire existence. And before you say you don't have to use it that's not the point it's existence is essentially saying you've clearly never played a game before and have no skills what so ever, here mash a button like a 5 year old. Anyways krillin is definitely on my team. Loved makoto so I knew I'd dig his fake out play style.
Hero X Makoto and Krillin may play similarly, but they both revolve around different game mechanics. In a game as fast as this, target combos prove as a way for rookies to keep up (at least so i think so)
Hero X Ok what about people (like me) who haven’t played fighters for any significant amount of time to get used to the way they play? Of course if you want to get good you’d learn how to play using things other than auto combos, but for beginner players, they’re good to have so that they aren’t stuck flailing uselessly. I’m personally not used to things like quarter or half circles into attacks (I have the motions down not the timing), so until I can get it down, I’d appreciate options so I can actually have even a ghost of a chance.
A game having something that’s beginner friendly or easily accessible options isn’t bad as long as there’s more depth to the game past those easy options overall
Except Auto-combos do waaayyy less damage. And the medium version is genuinely a waste of meter.
