Good information but I would suggest that you also insure that you have a Pink Squirrel Fly!!! It works anytime of the year!catches a ton of trout!

I don’t believe that any of the major fly companies provide a bent hook version. Also, the Pat’s version is really easy to alter to have a slight bend in the front 1/3. I haven’t had any problems with breaking or bending the hooks out.
