Thank for the video. You showed how to connect it, but how do you use it? Reverbs/Delays? Individual chanel proçessing? Etc. I know you mentioned this a bit at the end, but I'm keen to see the application of integrating the Waves FX
Silly question... I want to start using Waves plugins. If I get the Waves card for the SQ, can you run the Waves Soundgrid software on a personal dedicated computer? Or do you have to buy the official Waves server rack mounted device to run Waves plugins? The cheaper servers are still alot of money, and I have several quick computers sitting around collecting dust. Thanks! Super interesting to see, and handy because it is our same SQ series console which is helpful.
both! the superrack or LV1 frontends can run on any old PC/mac, but ideally, the actual plugins run on a dedicated waves server, connecting via soundgrid and a waves card in the desk, you can run superrack native using a usb interface/dante virtual soundcard etc... but low latency performance may suffer, possibly meaning that its only suitable for send/return type effects rather than inserts, though that will depend on the spesifics of your situation. There are ways to run the soundgrid server OS on non-waves computers (its not actually very difficult), but compatability with the spesific hardware you have isn't guaranteed
Hola puede actualizar el tutoríal? Cómo hacer el ruteo de lv1 con sq ? Qué ingredientes necesitas? Mucha gracias

Why do you use 48k sample rate in Waves? I thought the SQ series was native 96k?
I use 96k for Waves
Nice one
Is a sound grid server necessary?
Yes if you want low latency, otherwise, you can run without it.
@@hanieltrisna jow you run it without ?
My bad, you do need a server
Cool Kuhan!
