It's a miracle Vincent's eyes aren't permanently bloodshot with the amount of TVs he looks at lol
your next-gen panel content is amazing, vincent. thanks bro!
Capital letters...fail bro!
my man putting in work. looking forward to your summaries and thoughts
Please make this available in the U.S. through customer installers. 🙏
How about available to everybody online?
3:04 Vincent is LITERALLY spitting some facts. 🤣🤣🤣
Saw that 😷
Comforting that the term "literally" once in a while still gets used correctly by native English speakers. 😋
Everytime you say "smooth grading" I keep hearing the "smooth operator" song in my head
''Smooth Criminal''
Lots of great info here, thanks Vincent. Had to smile when you announced point C and held up three fingers- live thought in algebra 😁
Here comes Panasonic to rain on LG's Parade. Panasonic is going to be hard to beat though. Panasonic is always good, solid well built well thought out, well executed. Panny have some of the brightest engineers in the TV industry.
Who's making Pana's displays?
@@TillTheLightTakesUsLG lol
If they get something like the color boosting algorithm by LG then they'd be unbeatable overall due to their immense accuracy not just after calibration but also out of the box. I think Panasonic is one of the best if not the best for out of the box experience.
@@elTigre877 dark accuracy is better on WOLEDs
Great hardware implementation, but their firmware support sucks. Unless it works out of the box dont expect an update anytime in the first year to fix it.
Vincent even makes sure he doesn't trigger your assistant 😀👏🏼
They still only have two HDMI 2.1 connections? And one of them is still eARC. It's such a powerful processor, yet it still can't do four. How long is this design flaw going to exist?
When mediatech stops underdelivering… maybe in next year or two years in the future.
And again,Panasonic my fav brand is always the most underlooked manufacturer,They constantly for years since plasma put out revolutionary class leading tech and design for its consumers with top quality,I’ll never ever touch any other brand.
Yea buts its only i. Europe 😭 i guess sony will have to carry the America market hard
3 videos in one day? but Christmas was last month
Thank you Vincent. I was hoping for qd oled with pana but the improvements are so good that I don’t care. I am just happy to stay with pana and upgrade in size…well done pana !!!
no 77 inch and up?! huge let down. do better pana.
I see what you mean. Many also wanted a panel without the sound.
Panasonic should offer only their flagship OLEDs in the US maybe through custom installer
Or just.. you know.. offer them. No one needs an installer for a TV.
Wait, the Pentonic 800 can upscale video quality? That's creepy awesome! Maybe my old monster movies won't look like they were filmed with a potato anymore!
Question is, will sony and panasonic manage to put 4 hdmi 2.1 in their tvs before hdmi 3.0 is released?
i think HMDI 3.0 will be still on next year
Sony already explained why they don't add 4 HDMI 2.1 ports. You don't have to like the answer but at least it's an answer.
Watch this video. From 27:20 to 32:35 Sony gives the answer why.
ua-cam.com/video/X_N0vNF7Q5Q/v-deo.html
Having only 2 HDMI 2.1 ports is Sony's signature, why should they change that? 😅
Thanks, that was a good vid. At least now I now it's a Sony's choice, not an impossibility.@@PSYCHOV3N0M
@@BeatelementhePiHwhy add real HDMI 2.1 ports when you can get HDMI group to rename 2.0b to fool customers

Hi Vincent do we see the first mini led Panasonic tv mx950 review???? Only
Avforums has a review but you are the big brain TV specialist period !!!!!!!!
I am sticking with Panasonic! By far the best tv still. Enjoy!
Not anymore lol
@@dimitrios0072 Um yes it is,You won’t find better processors and build quality for movies than panasonic.
They USED to be. Different world today as all the brands caught up and surpassed in some areas.
"Some" is the keyword here
I imagine the new heatsink will further reduce image burn-in, useful for gaming. ❤
Would be cool to learn more about the pentonic:
How many OS updates/years will Panasonic provide? I would hope they provide security updates for at least 5 years (quarterly at least), otherwise I wouldn't even allow it to be connected to the Internet if it is not secure.
What is it's performance compared to the 4k Chromecast? (benchmark or games would be cool)
Network performance, can I stream high bitrate videos from local network NAS.
Would be cool if Vincent could do a deep technical review of Panasonic as they seem to be similar to Sony in terms of prioritising imace quality.
Panasonic is 1 Of_ the best TV in the world but they don't sell in 80% of the world this is big problem
My Panasonic ST60 Plasma is my current favorite TV, so I can imagine they're doing well with OLED too. I'd love to get one in the USA.
St 60 is best plazma
MZ2000 77" size didn't even have MLA panel, they better get it right this year lol
@hdtvtest new mediatek chip means also new H.266 Codec support?
I was waiting for this launch. Here comes my new TV replacing the good old GZ1500.
I Love Panasonic Tv's but i was hoping for a different design for the Top Oled rather than keep using the same design since 2019, but the Fire Tv bulit in is cool
The additional features on this TV are outstanding on paper, the true game mode is mind numbingly cool!! Samsung who?? QD-OLED is great and all but being able to have both an accurate picture and vibrant picture is far superior, vibrancy for people who like that (such as my dad) and accuracy for people like me. Absolute win
What’s a good hdmi 2.1 switch so you can use sound bar on the EARC port , have a ps5 and rtx 4090 plugged in at the same time ? Of course we need it to have VRR and the full 48Gbps. Thank you.
I’d buy the Z95A in 77”, love Panasonic. Unfortunately they decided against the MLA Panel once again for sizes above 65”. 😢 I’m starting to believe LG is limiting availability of the panels in certain sizes because Panasonic can’t be that dumb…right ?
Yeah this is beyond stupid. I'm 77" or bust at this point.
@@reanimationxp Then you shouldn’t be buying Tvs if you constantly want monstrous sizes unneeded.
@@Jza-GZabro what? Who the hell is buying a tv smaller than 75 inches
Panasonic needs to come back to the States!!! Aggravating
Which led tv is support dual screen split screen multiview ??? Left side cctv Right side movie
So a BFI without ANY drawbacks should be viable now?
Yeah but will it have the NOW TV app onboard ? I'm still waiting with my HZ1500 😪
Could you do a review on Dough monitors?
I live in Vegas Vincent. Can you swing by and calibrate my OLEDs? 😅🤣
The big problem of Panasonic is the TV not sale in 80% of the world 🌎
And very expensive
Very important question incoming: I returned my MZ2000 because sound issues regarding buzzing bass. I had it connected to an external subwoofer and the issue was still there. I didn’t had this issue with my previous JZ2000. It seems to be an issue since the LZ series. Will this be fixed in the Z95A series? Or will it have the same build-in speakers and chassis?
"Master OLED Ultimate" LOL. In 5 years I wonder if we'll get the Master OLED Ultimate Super-Plus Max Ultra-Pro?
Panasonic - The Hollywood panel you can't even buy at a Best Buy Hollywood CA!!!!
Mediatek needs to up their damn soc
But what's better for gaming the LG G3 or the Panasonic?
First
Keep up the awesome work Vincent!
G4 -83 inch day 1 purchase for me
😍
If only these TVs were available in the US. Value Electronics previously stocked some Panasonic OLEDs for a very brief window, but haven't for a few years now. Plus, no 77'' (or above) with MLA is a bit behind I think.
As usual, I’m extremely jealous that Panasonic OLED is unattainable in the USA 😢
I think there is a place in new york that sells them. I wanna say Value Electronics??
@@XthawagonX to my knowledge, they only sold them once and once that run ran out they didn’t sell anymore. And I don’t think that was even the newest Panasonic OLED
@@godspeedmaximus Don't believe they ship either.. they'd make a killing if they did.
Shame this wont be available in the Canadian markets
Well, no 83" means guess I'm still heading for the G4. Still, very interesting info.
Wow he loves the Panasonic Oled so much his mouth was water 3:06.😂
Why do you even watch Vincent video's if you can not any show some respect for his time and effort🤔
@davelaymon6282 Vincent is awesome. Its just funny that he let one jump out.
Please cover the qdel sharp, looks like self emissive quantum dot tvs might come way sooner than microled and i think they could rule them all
Cant wait to see if we get any news from philips. Or maybe i just go and buy 908.
Yes, but have they fixed the problem with random flashing lines in the top section of the screen when using streaming apps and HDR content? Having experienced this on 3x LZ2000 and the MZ2000 I currently have and not a word from Panasonic acknowledging the problem even though they've been provided evidence. It's a pity as otherwise these are great TVs but for the price you shouldn't have to accept random flashing lines throughout a programme/film. Panasonic's disappointing lack of interest in this issue leaves me no choice but to move to Sony or back to LG.
I've seen many posts about this issue on avforums, not only 2000 series is affected but other models as well. It's worrying that Panasonic TVs got so unpopular that some serious issues don't get enough attention and proper fixes. Some users are also reporting weird tearing issues with certain framerates or if bypass mode is turned on, they say Panasonic replaced motherboard and it still persists so must be a fault of processing.
It seems lg is the best for timely fixes
Got to bring Panasonic TVs back to the USA!
Please make this available in the USA Panasonic!!
No panasonic tvs sold here in the us that i know of.
Oh now this is interesting ibstill have a very old Panasonic LCD tv and its bloody solid the thing just won't break down
Is this gonna be available in North America? Like Canada! ??!?
Will it have Gigabit Ethernet?
How do you get a Panasonic in North America?
It annoys me that only LG and Samsung have HDMI 2.1 on all their HDMI ports and the other brands only have two but reserve one for the eARC port. Surely we're at an age now where most high end / enthusiast level TVs from most brands should include four HDMI 2.1 ports? As someone that owns both a PS5 and a Series X along with a soundbar, It's the only thing that stops me from buying a new Panasonic TV.
Blame mediatek. Lg and Samsung have bespoke display companies so they made their own display processors. Everyone else is stuck with mediatek
@@JayDpwnz I have no idea of the technical ins and outs of the chipset, but it seems like such a limiting factor. If LG and Samsung can do it then I see no reason why Mediatek can't offer that option as well. Having two of four HDMI ports only being 2.1 wouldn't be such a bad thing if one wasn't reserved for the eARC port. I just think for high end TVs that they should be offering the most flexibility when it comes to ports.
@@bpowick well if you buy a modern av receiver you essentially get what Samsung offers with the one connect box. Full bandwidth hdmi 2.1 ports. So it's not a totally lost cause; just need to spend a lot more money to get the functionality. But a good screen deserves good sound. I'm unsure if soundbar offers something similar with extra ports. It's only really lg that's figured out how to implement 4 full bandwidth ports completely at a SoC level
@@bpowickSony already explained why they don't add 4 HDMI 2.1 ports. You don't have to like the answer but at least it's an answer.

Hdmi 2.1 switchers exist.
I wonder how far in future we'll have to be to have consoles up to 144. They can barely hit 60.
When cloud gaming takes over
Do people who buy this in Europe not pair it with a dedicated sound system? Seems so misplaced to have a non removable giant speaker up front when people buying this for the reference quality would at least have a dedicated soundbar if not a whole surround system.
Also ironic that they unveil this in the US and don’t sell them here.
Blame the US consumer.
It’s because CES is considered to be a world show - I honestly think at lest here in the U.K. there might be a move away from dedicated sound setups for all but the most serious users. I personally sold my Yamaha receiver, sub and all my speakers. I own a Panasonic 65” LZ2000 and the sound system is fantastic, can it rival a dedicated sound system, absolutely not, but it still sounds great. Because I now live in an apartment, my old system was just impractical - besides you could still run it with an external sound setup if you wanted to.
?? Is it because there just wouldn't be enough sales to make it worth their while? I just find it so difficult that Panasonic couldn't operate in the US and compete for sales of their products, especially TV's. What made them leave the US market in the first place?@@stevenjones916
@@rufdymond that’s what I’m thinking it must be but even in the US people will invest in good TVs and any sound will be an afterthought so good sound in the TV is perceived as genuine value.
Why is Panasonic in Vegas when they have no US market?
Because it is global tech event.
Why can’t you get the screen without the sound system
Ffs no MLA on 77 again… I really can’t buy it when the lg had the new panel and the Pana is more expensive 💀
I don't know. I used to be a Panasonic fanboy at the times of plasmas, but as for some years I feel de facto - to my eyes - Sony's picture can't be beaten, especially latest generation XR processor tvs. The cleaness, the detail, the cinematographic sensation of Sony's picture is paradigmatic.
XR clear completely changed the game imo I can’t watch any other tv after my A95L they all look so flat.
@@epap1375 I use my tv 95% for gaming so I went with the X95L but I agree completely
Is Panasonic back on the US market?
Probably not, hope I'm wrong though
When Panosonic and Sony buy screens from LG and samsung will LG send them screens with MLA Newest Gen amd then also the Matt coated screens from Samsung? Does Sony and Panosonic get access to the tech?
Sony aren’t producing anything other than miniLED TVs this year based on their own developed tech. Panasonic already receive the same MLA 2.0 screen LG are using this year.
Ok narrowing it down now, this or the G4 for me i think.
Are they coming back to USA?
Waiting for C4 AND M4 from LG
The MediaTek curse has been lifted! Rejoice!
So sad Panasonic TVs is no longer in the US did they release any new 4K Blue Ray players
Why no QD-OLED form Panasonic
And of course, Panasonic have stopped selling TVs in Australia. So can cannot get it.
>If you're undecided about which Panasonic OLED to buy...
...it doesn't matter, because you live in America (the continent, as well as the country), and you can't buy neither. Because Panasonic does not sell their TVs here/there.
I wish Panasonic would come back to the US
Why still only 2 2.1?
I love the panel tech here, but I'm *begging* someone to release a TV with no crap on it. No voice control - no FireTV crap - no Apps - No software. I would pay an enormous markup if all that bloatware garbage were removed.
The fact that 'FireTV' and 'Voice Activated Controls' is a marketing point for Panasonic is so depressing.
Only 2 HDMI 2.1 ports is pretty sad for a flagship in 2024
To bad the 77 has no MLA and a bigger pity they don't even have a 83"
Panasonic if you are reading this please use a high end MLA panel in 77" and 83" next year, because 65" sceeen size was a high end screen size more than 6-8 years ago, and people who upgrade TVs dont want just better picture quality at the same 65" screen size. 83" would be a minimal screen size I would consider.
Does MLA work in game mode????
It didnt with the g3
? MLA is a layer on the screen.
Idk if Panasonic does color boosting the same way LG does
@TheAlienGangster they didnt last year. Shame if they repeat this year
Strange that Panasonic as at a U.S. technology event with TVs they don't sell here (yet?).
Yet?! They left the North American market due to lack of interest from the consumer.
@@CyberWoogy The brand went away about everywhere for a while but may start selling here again.
They need to square off the base of that round stand,, very much passé.

IMO, inclusion of the Fire TV OS will be a significant downgrade for the unit. The reason being that Fire TV is bug-ridden. Amazon is hyper motivated to push new features (including advertising, surveillance) but not very concerned with fixing bugs. That would slow the rollout process and hurt profits. Don't say you weren't warned.
So annoying that the soundbar is built in
I bet it still has no AirPlay Support and still a bad App Store :(
Finally. The MZ2000 was disappointing, let's hope the new model is everything the MZ should have been. As an aside, the Philips 908 was the first and only MLA, Pentonic 1000 chipped TV last year, and judging by the reviews was a comparative disaster.
They did not have time to get dirmware to work properly because pentatonic 1000 was released so late. Not 908 is much better than in release because they have have time to do many bug fixes since release.
@@haukionkannel The pentonic 1000 was released Nov 2022. Philips didn't release the 908 until October 2023, that's 11 months. And if that's not enough time then Philips should not have used the chip. As for firmware releases since then, I hope so but without a good online review to confirm the outcome then it's just speculation as to whether there have been improvements.

If panosonic has this next gen chip and they buy thier OLED screens from LG. Then doesn’t LG Also have the same chip? I mean do they ship the panel without the chipset? How does that work? Same when Sony buys panels from LG and throws on thier XR chip. How does that work? I thought with screens so thin the chips are baked right into the screen at the time they’re made. I can’t find a video on this anywhere. I’m paying much closer attention to process power now. Especially when upscaling old movies.
I'm sure lg will launch a new chip. Ik last year only lg and Samsung had 4 hdmi 2.1 ports mediatek only had 2
LG and Samsung both make their own in-house SoC. Hence, why they’re able to offer four full bandwidth HDMI ports.
