Thank you so much , honestly been looking for the best dermaroller where the needles go all the way through and is trusted. Your skin looks plump and healthy ❤
Hello Sally, another great video thank you :) I've bought the microneedling items since watching your video and am thinking of getting the ZIIP device since watching your video about that too!. My question is what would be the routine to incorporate the ZIIP Halo, microneedling and good ole castor oil?! I just want to make sure I won't be overcooking the pot! Thank you :)
Hi Sharon This is my protocol ZIIP most days Castor oil evening only Microneedling every 2 -4 weeks do not use castor oil for at least 48 hrs after Microneedling I hope that helps
Many thanks Sally, it does help 😀 I'm also wondering if you avoid using the ZIIP device for a period of time before or after doing a microneedling treatment? Thank you.
No, I have not tried microneedling. I have looked into it but was on the fence about trying it due to conflicting information. I appreciate you demonstrating it which makes me a little more at ease. You have beautiful skin by the way Sally. Thank you!
@FabulousOver50 I really appreciate it Sally. Yes, I agree with you. That's why I research products and take my time educating myself before I purchase or make a hasty decisions. 😊
I had it done a few years ago in an office. I'm not sure I could do it myself. I do do dermaplaning...face razor. My face looks great after I shave it. I'm just not sure how often I should do it.
Thank you so much for this video. I just recently started collagen powder and red light therapy. I'm planning to wait a few months to see what kind of results I'm getting. The next thing I'm adding in will be micro needling, which I'm excited about. I'm pushing 40 and I love getting tips from beautiful, slightly older ladies who know what they are doing. You look amazing and thank you so much for your channel :)
Hi Sally, i want to give this a go. I have a few bad acne scars on my face that have been there for years. Would you recommend the larger 1.0 option for something that needs more attention? Hopefully, at home, microneedling will work. The dermatologist route is way too expensive. Thanks for your input. Great content..
@@musicismeds 1mm is going to feel more sore than 0.75 or 0.5 but it will be effective. I would use a more shallow depth on the rest of the face as it can be stressful on the skin. Remember the objective is to create collagen with controlled injury so be gentle as you go.
I asked for a Dr Pen in May for Mother’s Day and have been too afraid to try it! I love your demonstration though and think I might try the dermaroller first. I hope it helps with the vertical lines above the lip - I haven’t found anything that helps! Thank you for this video Sally!
Just off to my third and last professional appointment for micro needling my décolleté and knees. Really impressed! My hands are up next but think I will do it using your recommended products Sally, thank you
@@SallyAtkins I bought all the bits on Amazon straight after your video and did my face and hands yesterday - I can honestly say, I am SO impressed, thank you!! I have taken 10 years off my face overnight, literally, I look “fresh” and my hands - WOW!! never again will I pay for professional micro needling. Thank you, thank you, thank you :) ❤❤❤❤
Hi Sally, thank you for the tutorial, haven't attempted microneedling but you have minimised the scariness. Quick question - would you do the microneedling treatment in combination with dermaplaning? EG dermaplane first then microneedle afterwards on the same day please? Thanks in advance. Xx
Totally different mechanism. Nira is heat generation sub dermal creating a response. Nira takes time but you can do it daily. Microneedling works fast but will require consistency and should be done once a month. It’s more invasive on the surface barrier. .
Great video. I have the Dr Pen A6 and I never used it for medical micro needling. I use it for cosmetic needling. I am in the middle of doing monthly Jessner peels but I am going to try this with the roller that's been sitting on my dressing table. I love Minimalist. I didn't know they made an HA. Does it get dry quickly on your skin bc Cos de Baha does. Your skin looks glowy
Wow, I have heard of it but it scared me to even think about it and now this video was so detailed that and the fact that you actually demonstrated it on how to use changed my perception completely! So did I understand you said do once a month? Thank you for sharing and being specific on everything! Thanks for the list of products, makes it easy.
Great video. I have a micro needling kit but really never got into doing it a lot. I like the way you do it the criss cross technique. Your skin is beautiful. I take very good care of my skin but you have inspired me to try it again. I just found your channel. Thank you
Interesting video thank you. Would broken capillaries improve with micro needling or should it be avoided? I had mine lasered earlier this year with good results and want to protect my skin from anything that could bring them back. It does look good and tempting though.
Yes Microneedling can reduce the appearance of broken capillaries. The needles create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, triggering the body's natural healing process and the production of collagen and elastin.
I have got one of these devices and am not going to use It anymore as I have dark age spots on my face And have heard that using this on dark spots will make Them worse.
I would be cautious with allergy type skin conditions. It could trigger a reaction. Proceed with caution. But if it’s white or dark patches it could work.
Hope this isn't too personal of a question & I haven't been following you too long so I don't know. Just wondering if you have any children. I just want to keep myself looking as good as I can for as long as I can. My profile pic was taken back in February at age 50. Just blessed with some decent genes, I guess. I love your tips & tricks.

How often do you recommend doing this? Weekly?
I suggest once a month but weekly is fine as long as your skin isn't sensitive.
Hi, how often are you doing this? Once a week?
You can do once a week but my best advice would be to try once a month to build up your tolerance and reduce the risk of peeling and sensitivity
