Yes I'm definitely maxing. I honestly like the idea of just doing the skill damge thing with Joan but I need more understanding of the combo attack in you all testing video. I've been getting hammerd with my XY Joan paring for some time because he has no defense but this will realy change things up

if the expertise skill 2nd part doesnt have cooldown, then Arthur might be the best 2ndary comander that ever made for Cav. Since its didnt specify only Arthur skill can proc it Meaning, if say Nevsky and Arthur can proc it at the same Skill Cycle you get 3900 from Nevsky (active + Arthur Expertise 50%) and 4900 Arthur (Active + Arthur Expertise 50%+ Nevsky 25% Skill damage Bonus buff)
It's so insane to think that a months ago Huo had the most amount of dmg with 2700. But now Arthur has more and he deals aoe. Honestly that's diabolical
absolutely cracked, love it :) the base line here is he's just a considerable better joan as secondary, which is a WILD floor to have. also, you just use him with the arch formation, no need to mess with delta. arthur/phillip or attila is gonna be super nice, or likely the new rally comm tbh.
Atilla won't work because if Arthur is secondary he doesn't do combo attacks and Atilla would need to be primary to get the normal damage bonus timing right

I think you forgot to mention Philip as a possible pairing option. Philip will increase Arthurs aoe by 70% dmg (activr skill + passive skill) and Arthur himself will give an additional 30% more skill dmg. In total that's 100% more making it 5600, also his 1400 aoe will get 60% more dmg, philip passive skill and arthur skill dmg bonus, making it 2240, in total 7840 which is out of this world. Also don't forget that Philip gives 35% attack and Arthur 30% attack, making it even more!
Combo attacks by themselves don't give any rage. Their is a separate bar in LC's expertise saying that he gains an extra basic attack worth of rage, so there's no guarantee that Arthur gives any rage for any of his combo attacks
I really like he is usable even in wedge formation/skill damage so he can work with your current pairings until another combo commander comes to be paired with him down the line. Love the high damage aoe. I dont like how the majority of 3 of his skills are specifically "field troop" not even "troops on the map" which means they dont apply to swarming rallies (or garrisons but that wouldnt work for either) which is kind of a big con especially in ark but also in kvk. I really hate that. Maybe they think he is too broken against rally otherwise?
Well wait, isn't a rally considered a "field troop"? If that's the case, nev/Arthur may actually be a monster pairing for rally swarming. I DO kinda find the niche, or specialty thing kinda cool, as it leaves some utility and life to earlier investments, like beli p. For things like structure swarming.

I think liu che, because he is now in the meta and if a commander stronger than scipio P comes out i could swap scipio P with the new meta. Arthur/Liu Che with a relic is gonna be broken. I think the first talent is similar to dagger where everyone can stack up to the maximum stacks and not 7.5% per troop.

I recently changed my nevksy/joan to joan/nevsky with 3 points into the rejuvenate talent and my reports are way better. Therefore i think ill go with huo/arthur as a pair. I will continue to invest into wedge formation. If delta ends up being better i guess it would be worth to convert the rare and special instriptions i have over to delta. But as a very low spender I dont think it makes sense to directly invest into delta formation. If you did go delta formation is the play arthur/nevsky and huo/joan? ROK is becoming increasingly difficult to find the best pairings with different skill mechanics. Its good for the game because lots of testing needed xx

I can see Lilith actually fully destroying rok with this swap event...these commander releases will be the death of the game if we cant swap to arthur and ragnar. Players who already used their GH to expertise LC and ZL will realise had they saved 1400 heads they could swap old garbage to LC and ZL and use the 1400 heads on arthur and ragnar. If lilith doesnt allow swap to these new comms, they just obliterated a 1400 gold head investment decision by players, making a whole year of grinding effectively useless as all the GH invested were a waste and now catching up to the meta is impossible due to too many commanders. The future of the game rests completely on the swap.

Cav was already the best troop type because of the superior advantage of March speed. If the cav March has amazing commanders/equipment and armaments, they are a million times faster so they can run down any March and slowly kill them as they run away which is why they are the best I still run 3 infantry marches regardless lol

Both Shajar for archers, and Ragnar for infantry had damage factor of 2800. Also stephen for sieges had a total factor of 2800.

that's incorrect. a combo attack is an extra basic attack. it used to be called an extra basic attack before they called it combo.
