I have watch over 20 videos. For the DJI, microphone. Would have to say yours is the best video I've seen so far. Must say you have convinced me in purchasing, this item. Would like to see more videos from you. Preferably with the RC controller, for the DJI mini pro 3. With any and all functions, from the controller that need to be set. Thanks.

Just added these to my collection, I've been using the rode wireless go 2s, but these blow them wireless go's away in lots of aspects! Quick question, have you had issues connecting an external mics to the GoPro Hero with the media mod? I've found that even with choosing the right settings, it glitches sometimes and still uses the mic on the media mod?
Nice! Ye i was thinking about the GO II a while back, but have been waiting to get my hands on the DJI Mic for ages now.
I don’t use Media Mod and will never do either tbh.
When i use my GP10, the internal (with some additional tweaking) is more than enough for what i do with the camera.

Hey Rob, thanks for this review. I got my DJI Mic too and I’m just trying to work out the perfect settings. My voice is loud and deep and I’m having problems with clipping. I already reduced the gain to -2 on my transmitter but im still hearing clipping now and then. I just released a video about the DJI Mic where im talking about that. Does anyone have any good ideas on how to go about that? Thanks 🙌🏼
Which software are you editing with? Its always better to go as low as you can and then increase the levels in post. Usually prevents the clipping
@@RobHK thank you for the advice. We are using LumaFusion. Increasing the audio volume in post is not a problem, I was just wondering if too low of a gain can effect the general audio quality and increase background noises. I’ve seen some people even increase gains to reduce background noise. Do you have any experience with that?
My voice is quite low, im at +11.
Unfortunately there is a lot of clipping sound in lumafusion.
I think you would be better off trying multiple settings and them play them back to see which sound better tbh. Thats what i did when i first got them
@@RobHK thank you for your advice. Yea I will try to reduce the gain even more, im just worried that this decreases the overall sound quality. I think LumaFusion is not the problem here. The clipping is already noticeable in the recorded footage. It’s just very hard to remove clipping in post production. I tend to use Auphonic. And that usually has great results but not with clipping. How are things going with your DJI Mic setup, all good on the audio? I was initially wondering if I had a faulty unit, but I see many people having bad audio quality overall.
