That thumbnail = win! Nice one.
THOMAS
I'm just here to say how awesome the thumbnail for this video is.
Simple solution. Tried this on my GoPro before, while it was windy. Good to try out now with the drone. Thanks Jeven!😊
That voice iso is pretty slick!
It's good to also add some "BGs" or ambient sound, like light wind, birds, air etc... It really helps fill the stereo field. This is what I do on movies.
You are the top man from the beginning to this day, always pleasure to watch, listen, enjoy and learn.
I like that Voice isolation. That was neat. We shoot Air S and S2's but our Camcorder is bonded through our Sling Studio that we connect with the Android controller.
Now I know why they are clapping.. tq for the explaination.. lots of love from Malaysia.. ❤
That’s exactly what I do. Sometimes I use two cameras, so I clap to match up the two tracks.
The simplest way to sync audio love it
SO great bro. Love that new voice isolation feature!
Thanks for the advice, great video keep them coming
Excellent tutorial! Impressed. I never knew the technical details of obtaining clean sound.
I a little busy to sit and watch rn but I have to comment that I looove how ridiculously great the thumbnail is 👌🏽📸💯💯💯
Thank you to let us know your methods. Good information. LIKE bottom pressed. I SUBSCRIBED here from Brazil.
Fantastic vid. This is exactly what I do!
Thanks for the info the clapping with the hands is useful. I have a DJI mic but I never use it.
Wonderful! That's exactly what I've been wanting to do! When I can get out and fly my drone (Air 2), I'll be back with lots of questions! I just ordered the mic. Happy Holidays and thanks again! 😀
Thanks for the wisdom brother
Neat little trick. Thanks for sharing.
Some record it via the USB-C port of the controller/screen recording... but you are right, why going through that hassle, when you can just record it directly to the latest wireless mic systems themselves 🙂
Cheers from LA.
I heard about some doing it this way but I’m wondering do you get all the screen telemetry on the screen recording as well. I wouldn’t want all that on screen. Probably easiest to do it how it was shown in this video.
wow thank you
I use dog clickers, creates a sharp sound really easy to see on the timeline. I regularly sync up 4-6 go pros. I use Izotope to remove sounds like air cond or fridge or car sounds. works great.
That's right Jovey, clap with your hand when you recording audio in order you can put together both audio on the time line on your video editing software. Also, if you use the right click on you time-line in Adobe Pro, the same software will align both audio automatically.
There is no audio on the drone so this won’t work. You need to match the visual to the audio clap
What a fantastic video with tips on how to record when you are flying the drone. I love drones. One can photograph beautiful sceneries.🤩😍
Thanks. Thats i wanted for my MV.
Thanks for the info. Going to go out now with Lark mic 😳
This is extremely helpful. Thank you.
Thanks for making nice videos.
So freaking cool! Thanks for sharing! The possibilities are endless with this!
Nice and super solution , I need to get that mic now
Awesome stuff
It's very useful way! now I want DJI Mic more.
Looking at the thumbnail I was like WTF :D I must see it. Good work Jeven and awesome tutorial as always.
Beautiful video thank you very much....
Beautiful view
Great video Jeven I have tried using the smart controller and it sucks defiantly getting this👍
That thumbnail got a pretty good laugh outta me 😆
Thank you for sharing your knowledge 🙏🏼God Bless You🌤🕊💨💨💨
Thank you. That was very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
@@JevenDoveyat approx 1:50 you cut to a screen capture clip. Can i ask you how you boost the quality to make it look like your drone footage? I don't see anywhere to change the resolution in my rc2. The screen capture resolution is pretty low. Any tricks? Do you upscale the clip? Thanks if you choose to respond (which I'm hopeful you will!)
Wow that was great tips! TY
Have to experiment with this. I have been using my phone with a plug in lapel mic. There are lots of apps that will continue to record sound.
Wow amazing video thanks so much.
Good video - Question - more holy Grail for me - How to capture audio FROM the drone? Example - flying over waves, flying over forest with birds singing, bells ringing from a tower, all sounds sources that are not close to you but are close to the drone. Thinking of trying suspending a very small audio recorder from the drone on a string to capture audio plus noise cancellation for the prop noise. Bottom line, add real time sounds to drone video and eliminate the canned music. Thoughts? Ideas? Collaborate on a project?
The props would overpower any usable audio even with NC on.
@@AudioJanitor Think long string....
@@seewind Do it and ping me back. Better off with a 50ft+ painters pole :)
Propeller noise sounds like THE NOISE 😶
I think most drone footage that features environmental sounds, are actually sound effects … if chosen well, they can match the footage well.
You are always the best ❣️
Wow, what a useful tip! Thank you.
Wow learnt something new at 43
Cool video Jeven. What other external voice recording options are available in the market?
Thanks
I love the thumbnail.
Great Tips!! Thank you.
Great information, and thanks for sharing.
Good info. May have to do this in the future.
The thumbnail peeked my interest lol
Excellent!
Amazing tip.. Thank You
Excellent! Thanks, Jeven!
Good info. Thank you!
Thank you!
This is exactly what I'm looking for? Did you record the close up shots with a drone? Thinking of get a drone for real estate video if that is possible.
Great video Jeven, thanks
Great video, thank-you. Just one question.... What flew over you at 3.30min!!! 🛸👽😃
I'd love to see a video on backpacks for the type of combo hiking/filming that you do! I am lost right now, trying to find a large backpack that is easy to use for camera gear, can hold a 15-16 inch laptop & is comfortable enough and durable enough to take up hills or hike with all day.
The Shimoda Backpacks are the best: ua-cam.com/video/UC_bZvin7Ig/v-deo.html
@@JevenDovey I think you might be right, I now have my eye on the 35 litre... Expensive, but worth the price to me as it seems ideal, I'll start saving. Thanks for the reply!
Good info, Jeven. Thanks.
great vid as usual!
Excellent video👍👍
cool tips, now you can talk wherever
Amazing Topic :O !
Thanks for those nice Tips :)
Where do you have your Backpack from? It looks useful
Finding the DJI mic is like looking for toilet paper during the pandemic. You have a plug Jeven 😂?
wear a gopro on your head and export the audio. I have the dji mike, I may try that out
I am a resourceful person lol
it works the same w a go pro as far as lining up the audio. I got a video I did it on it worked pretty good but took 4 ever to edit a lil clip lol
Can you show us what you did as far as setting up the mic what to look for in the controller or phone??
Dude I love your bad where do I get one from?
First, thanks for the video.
I have a question because of the video/ audio editing/cut.
Which is the simplest/ cheapest way to edit a video like you did in this video?
It doesn’t have to have many features, just a program where I can edit my drone footage.
Thanks man, been watching a lot of your content. I was wondering about the dji mic. Heard a lot of mixed reviews
I use it for every video now. Works great
@@JevenDovey which one is it? I seen two different ones I believe, thanks
Awesome video.
👍🏻👍🏻
Lots of great info maybe im just dumb but if my phones being used by the drone I have the mini 3 how can I get the mic to plug into my phone?
What app do you use for editing? Your videos are so helpful!!!
Final Cut Pro. Here's my tutorial on how to use it: geni.us/dkNlQnp
You were wearing the DJI Mic but where was the receiver connected too or did you just have it in your pocket since you were recording internally to the Mic?
There is no link to the video you mentioned at the end.
This is Amazing 👍
Nice info
Now, how about mounting a mic on the actual drone, and getting some up close audio, with the video, and then editing out the drone noise?
Izotope RX for reduce the background noise
That thumbnail. Well done. Lmao
Thanks
Nice video, thanks for sharing
I think you forgot the last link or the end screen as we don't see the link to your next video ;-)
Thanks its added
Good morning Joven
Thanks for this explanation, I was just looking for that. Can you also use two of those DJI mics, like if you want to film an interview?
Yes
Thank's for this amazing video ! Still one question, what's the name of the voice isolation plug in ? 🙏
It’s built into FCPX not a separate plug in. If you update FCPX it should be available under audio > Audio Enhancements and it’s just called Voice Isolation.
Lol, creative thumbnail.
omg the thumbnail though ahahahaha
I just do a screen record on my rc pro with a mic plugged in. I then remove the video from the screen recording and replace it with the video from the drone.
What microphone are you using that records audio on your controller?
I bought a Movo adapter from B&H, tried several different microphones, but no audio on my controller.
Amazing clickbait. Just when I thought I can get some birds chirping from the air
Excellent - and doesn't that voice isolation feature work well :-)
Yes it does!
briliant
This would only work in terms of you speaking, correct? I like to take drone videos with my mini 2, but would this work because I would think that I would have to mount a cardioid microphone on the underside of the mini 2 to get audio?
nice place to do the video. where is it?
Guess you’re the guy to ask. Do drones record to a micro so card onboard or to the phone? Thank you!
Can do both
What's the purpose of connecting it to the remote? I'm having a hard time understanding because it still won't directly record sound onto the video. Yes, I can see that it can visually make things easy by seeing the visual cue of clapping hands, but can't you just do the same with the audio and record it directly to the dji transmitter storage and take out the audio from it and import it to the video in editing? It's a hassle to record it on the screen recording and don't understand the purpose? I'm just confused on this. I really thought when purchasing this that the audio would magically feed into the drone footage lol.
Is there an effect like the background sound cancellation in Premiere Pro as well? To what source do you record from the DJI mic to?
You can use the Denoiser effect to get rid off background noise
This is a specific tool in FCP but I'm sure theres ways to do it in Premiere.
Dji mic 2 is good for dji 4 pro
