Episode 2 will be up shortly and I expect Episode 3 to be out tomorrow morning! The reception has made it clear that we will continue but honestly, I would have either way because I HAVE to see what happens next!
"It`s like an animated painting." That`s cause it kinda is. Fortiche, the studio who makes the show, is a French animation studio that specializes in a unique mix of 3-D character models, 2-D props and effects and matte painting evocative of Renaissance-era Parisian oil paintings.
I actually really love the new method of releasing episodes. Rather than cut it up into weekly episodes, they cut it up far more naturally into Acts. You get access to a good narrative arc to complete, but you also get the social engagement of staggered releases. Feels like a fantastic balance to me.
@@thebest3702 because its amazing. I am a league player and wasnt expecting that much of piltover lore but damnn i've seen all 3 episodes and it surpassed my expectations.
@@madtitan0825 just to tell you this is just the region of piltover and zaun, which is the cities in this story, above and under respectively. There are a lot more regions to show and those regions have different lore, culture, politics, etc. If you want more, I recommend you to read the lux comics. It is a story about another region called demacia. The story is quite short but good storytelling and world building
I’ve played league for 7 years now, and this sort of feels like a culmination of all that. The excitement and anxiousness I had watching it was genuine, it’s hard to describe. It’s just like being a big fan of any other franchise, but it’s this different feeling when all it’s ever been was on your computer screen, just a game you played. Now it’s all being brought to life. Being a league fan it’s so so good to see the enjoyment people have gotten from it when they’ve never touched the game.
Considering how long the episodes are and how the story resolved, it honestly felt like a full 2 hour movie. I imagine these 3 parts will feel like a movie trilogy. My main hope when you’re watching these is that you watch it on its own merits rather than try to figure out how it relates to the game and game characters. It’s such a beautifully written tragedy, and I would hate for the story to be overshadowed by its relationship to the game.
Netflix DID NOT MADE THIS SERIES, Riot Games themselves made it with a partnership of an animation studio called Fortiche. Netflix is just streaming it.
Im a League Of Legends gamer since 2013 but this is my first time seeing them as kids. In game they are atleast 20 above their age so its new to me. This animated series is new to us gamers seeing this. We even dont know their story when they were kids but we know now thanks to the series.
I love Arcane. I am excited to see Powder grow up. And I'm definitely loving the sisterly bond and Vander as well. The artstyle and the voice acting is god tier 🙏😎🔥
For playing from beta to 7 years the story soo far follow the lore perfectly and the art syyle is just perfect , shoutout to the start of ep 2 for the best caracter
I'm blown away by the first episodes, and all I've ever played was a bit of LoR. Can't wait for the next batch and would love to see your reactions for the whole thing!
This might be the greatest show I've ever seen. It blew my mind. Edit: I have to take that back.........I have seen some anime that classifies a similar level level. Berserk, Ninja Scroll, Avatar: The last Airbender, Ghost in the Shell. (not the live version) I guess I also have to throw in Legend and The Princess Bride, Firefly................. Regardless, being in this realm is beyond high praise. This is something that I will gladly advise people to watch for most likely the rest of my life.
Singed was the balding mad scientist who was working with Silco at the end, he used to work for Piltover but defected to Zaun because he was fed up with the Academy and Council`s ethical restrictions getting in the way of his own personal twisted idea of progress. Silco,Mylo, Claggor,Enforcers Marcus and Grayson, Mel and the other Medardas and Vander are original characters to the show , however they do influence events that lead up to the lore, champions, arsenal and conflicts we know from the Games.
@@Nathahollic I mean the subtitles said singed, but yeah the last episode I was thinking holy shit is he gonna become Warwick? Because wws lore lines up with him
Its because Netflix had no hand in making it. Riot and Fortishe made it, and designed it around 3 episode acts. So they made Netflix to agree to that style of upload. Singed was Silco's scientist partner making the purple serum. (Silco is wierd eyeball man) This is Singed before he got.... well, singed by fire. No burn scars yet. The blue orbs are actually magical creatures! If you remember Skarner, everyones favorite crystal scorpion, then these orbs are part of his race! Of course, nobody in runeterra knowns this, including the people who discovered the crystals. Thats why Skarner is so eternally pissed off, because his race is being used as magical batteries.

The 3 a week has been around for a while really just not done with every show I think its on shows they want to build some hype around. But it has been around for over a year I think
I couldn't care less about the game, it's one of the types of games i never bother to check out. The Series is great. The Style of the Show and World reminds me A LOT of Dishonored (great Games in my opinion)
Yeah, the style of the series is very, very Dishonored(I'd say more alike to 2 than the first one tbh). The character models where they're kinda realistic but also cartoony, and the area up top(Piltover I think) just screams Karnaca lol

It's been nearly a Year and people still keep saying that "Netflix made it" and that's "Netflix Originals" (when it's not).
Singed was the man that put the purple stuff in the rat. The one with Silco (weird face guy)
That Scientist that with the "Bad guy" is Singed Himself. Or Pre-Singed should I say.
Singed before he got singed ;)
