      That was the greatest single season by a defensive player I’ve ever seen.
      2012 JJ Watt was living in backfields, swatting down passes and getting sack after sack on every QB.

      @@Terror832 2014 was definitely JJ’s best year for a defensive player ever. Had 3 offensive touchdowns and a pick 6 i believe with also like 20 sacks.

      Probably more than that. In those 2 years he was injured he would have had at least 30 sacks, considering his numbers in 2015 and 2018, and then at least 3/4 more sacks last year. That would put him at around 135, which is incredible since he’s only 31

      Man why do people always have to get hurt😭 if injuries never existed in the world... the nfl would be VERY different. RG3, Todd Gurley, J.J. Watt, Christian McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley, Sterling Shepard are all guys who fell off because of injuries 😪

    I remember when Wade Phillips all the way back in 2012, after just one year, said that Watt was gonna have a bust someday in Canton and make it to the Hall of Fame
    He nailed that prediction

      He is definitely going to the Hall of Fame. He is one of 3 players in NFL history to win 3 DPOYs in their career, the other 2 being Lawrence Taylor and Aaron Donald. If JJ hadn't gotten injured all those times, he probably would have around 130 sacks by now. He is 100% going to the Hall, no doubt about it

    Just think of all of the greats he's taken down. Brees, Rodgers, Manning 1, Manning 2, Flacco, Fitzpatrick, Wilson, Roethlisberger, Newton, Ryan, Rivers. He's gotten up close and personal with lots of QBs

    JJ Watt played one a era with Luke Kuechly Bobby Wagner Patrick Peterson Von Miller Richard Sherman Kam Chancellor Cam Jordan Camron Heyward Ryan Kerrigan and Muhammad Wilkerson and was still undoubtedly the best defensive player in the nfl for 3 or 4 years that’s amazing

    He accelerates in scary fashion, and he doesn't need much contact to knock you over. Man, I wish he was on the Ravens...we need to be able to pressure quarterbacks without blitzing.

    When he was drafted I remember hearing nothing but Boos from Houston fans over picking JJ. Kids a beast and he definitely deserves a shot at a ring. Him and Watson especially, but they would need to be traded for a bag of corn for that to happen, since Houston is not a good team and won't be for awhile.

    Crazy how nowadays he’s double teamed every snap, if you give this man a one on one it’s over with, I hope he doesn’t leave, but I wouldn’t blame him, and if he does leave, my city better give him a statue in the front of NRG stadium. The man deserves his ring.
