Shorts are undoubtedly a summer essential that every guy needs. I must've been a chubby dude back then because the pair of chino shorts I bought 2 years ago is looking oversized as hell!
Time for a new pair and instead of going directly to Uniqlo, I decided to try out chino shorts from different brands to see how well they do in terms of FIT, QUALITY AND PRICE. I got 6 different pairs of Chino Shorts from brands such as H&M, Uniqlo, Cotton On and Burton Menswear London! All of these chino shorts are under 100 ringgit or 35 US dollars. Motorcycle key pocket 👍🏾 I use them all the time on my American eagle chinos.
My guess for the fifth pocket on the cotton on is that it might be a pocket specifically for a lighter or something like that
Even though those pockets are normally in the right front pocket
Well I think they implemented the small pocket like they are on jeans which was originally for a pocket watch back from the cowboy days

Fun fact. When companies pick names for the colours of their products there is no real rhyme or reason to it as the colour they choose is just letters and numbers in pantone colour index. So instead of just making it something like TF4754 they just name it “Pigment Stone”

Only problem with pants in h&m (almost all type) are size is not accurate. In Summer i have about 76 cm waist ( h&m size 30)and i need buy shorts on 29 size . When i wear my slim fit pants(in size 30) They too large. But are Good in Winter Time when i have like 78 or more in waist.
They really ought to fix their sizings. These shouldn't even be a problem if they want to compete w the top brands like uniqlo 😶
The width on the First one is NOT too big. Shorts should NOT hug your leg…EVER. This is not the 70s. Nor will it EVER BE.
