Sometimes I am asking myself what the fuck did Konami thought about Crystal Beasts.
1) You need 7 monsters in your GY or field to summon a big beat stick who can't active its effect in the turn it was summoned. And cant do anything.
2) Also 5 of these 7 monsters are so bad they don't help getting Rainbow Dragon faster
3) Why 7 monsters??? why not just 3 or 4??

if you fight vs Izhisu, you "can" play around NMCR and avoid any damage to trigger the skill, but you can't predict a Cosmic

I like to put a Hamon in the deck just so you're not basically forced to surrender if someone Cosmic Cyclone's your Cobalt Eagle at the start. It also gives you an out if you're forced to put three CBs in the backrow and need more space. Either way it's not a great deck but it's fun.

It is not bad, it is a tricky deck. You have to be very carefull with your plays. Of course is dkayed smart enough to play the deck flawless, unlike me and you😂.

Running all 7 crystal beasts but only two of them are good (carbuncle and pegasus)
Jaime Garcia carbuncle is not as useful as Pegasus in duel links, but it’s now better thanks to conclave

You can summon Rainbow Overdragon easy in 2.nd with a fusion card from Zane where you do fusion from your deck (if you have it luckily at the beginning) and use ability from Jesse where you get all crystal monsters from the beginning ;-) :-)
That 98% at 4:50 is not quite accurate, because even though you essentially went through 10 out of 20 cards of the deck, you searched 2 monsters with the skill and 2 other monsters with Bond. So those 4 cards should not be counted. Instead, what you should count are the starting 4 cards and the 2 cards that you drew with Rare Value. So essentially you really just drew 6 out of 20 cards, which incidentally gives an 87% chance of getting at least 1 of the 5 Conclaves. Still high chances, but not 98%.
To be even more precise: he drew 4 out of 20 and then 2 out of 12, so the chances to open up conclave with this particular play are 91%. Because after he searched 4 cards the chances to draw conclave increase. Correct me if i'm wrong pls.
@@Ivlovsky You are correct on that the chances are actually a bit higher than 87% because of what you said. I omitted that fact on purpose because it makes the analysis somewhat harder, and I'm not quite sure how to combine the probabilities in such a case. But yeah, there's the probability of drawing it in the starting hand, and then there is the probability of getting it after drawing 2 from a deck of 14 (because 4 were removed for starting hand and another 2 from the skill; Rare Value was played before Bond, so the 2 searches from Bond don't count at all in this analysis).
Yes you are right. Sorry i missed that he played bond after rare value. So its 2 out of 14, not 2 out of 12. As for the calculation: you have to multiply the propabilities of failing. So 100%-71.83%=28.17% (propability of failing when drawing 4 out of 20) 100%-60.44%=39.56% (propability of failing when drawing 2 out of 14). 28.17% × 39.56% = 11.14% propability of failing both times. So final chance to open up conclave is 88.86% (plus or minus 0.01% due to the fact that the yugioh calculator only shows 4 significant digits i believe)

Demonic Darkness I feel like at that point you’d have to take some of the crystal beast spell and trap cards. Maybe they can be mixed with lightsworns?

Dkayed thought he had 98% chance to draw crystal conclave if he had 5 and drew 10 out of 20 cards.
He didn't draw conclave because he had to shuffle his deck. He then had 5 conclave out of 10. Meaning at that moment dkayed had a 50% chance to draw conclave(rainbow bridge) and instead drew rare value
also milling your deck down to 10 cards is not stochastically independent from not drawing conclave

It'll give you less options with your other Rainbow Dragons once you've used it, but I don't think it'll make a huge difference. Best part of having it is when they Floodgate your RD and you just use it to special summon Overdragon.
As much as I like this deck ...COSMIC CYCLONE OWNS THIS BUILD AND DKayed knows it

honestly, the card isn't worth it. I replace it with another Raigeki. Over the tons of duels with this deck i've never had the problem with not having RD

Cosmic Cyclone should probably just be banned outright. Like Treacherous, a semi-limit would just mean that forthcoming decks would run 2 while old decks get shafted because they probably all have stuff at 2 that they need to run, meaning that Cyclone will never age out of the meta. Likewise, it can't really be put to 1 because, putting aside that much of what I said about 2 remains true for 1, there are even fewer decks with things at 1, again meaning that everything that can run 1 copy will, and that you'll STILL likely wind up having to put key cards to 1 just to prohibit its use.
And that's ignoring that any effect in the game that gets triggered by Cyclone runs Cyclone specifically for that reason, that without Cyclone, many of the 3000LP skills would likely become balanced inherently because there just aren't any cards that compare to Cosmic in the pay 1000 category (not counting Mirror Wall since it's 2K, and a mostly dead card outside of decks that require even more than paying 1K).
Finally, we've already got stuff like Night Beam and Dust Tornado that'll never, ever see play with Cosmic in the meta. The card is the sole reason we even have a "limit 3" restriction which, currently, only really hits Invoked decks--which are, hilariously, still relatively usable--and will likely lead to other 3-limit cards for decks like Shiranui, Thunder Dragons, and Dark Magician, all to again prohibit Cosmic use--which will invariably lead to future decks all running 3 until their 3-limits.
Just ban the fucking card already. There was no reason to believe it was smart to put it in Duel Links where paying 1000 is not only not a drawback but is an outright BENEFIT to MANY decks playing it.
CC is the only tech card that can counter cards like Circle, Overflow, Fiendish, and other limited back row cards. If they ban it, they will have to ban every OP cards and it's essentially useless to play any other decks, especially older ones.
Don't think cosmic is that much of an issue. Sure it's a quick play backrow removal but without it, you lose a reliable counter to many cards. Take geartown for example, you could destroy it with a card but it would summon reactor dragon. When six samurai was still meta, dual wield with shien drove me absolutely crazy.

Cosmic cyclone and all the dark magician decks cancelled this one.. I really love the crystal beats and aromage but I never defeated a dark magician deck it's so op, they need to nerf it !!
Based on your comment I think your problem vs DM is DM banishing your cards right ? Find a way to deal with circle and play around navigation. Aromages have monsters that destroy backline so it should not be too hard. Navigation's grave effect can't be activated the turn navigation is activated so keep that in mind.

@@NoArcane Do you run Cananga ? Ideal openning hand vs DM would be Cananga and Blessed Winds and u going first. When the opponent bout to summon Dark Magician u can activate Blessed Winds LP gain to activate Cananga effect and return Circle to hand to prevent it activating banish effect. Much better is if you know where the navigation is and turn trigger on then return it to hand before the opponents end phase.
Run cosmic cyclone or some counter traps like ultimate Providence.
