I think that this how the skill is supposed to work if it worked how the description says it would be kinda pointless. It just happens to be really good on a superheavy deck.
It's probably meant to boost until your opponents endphase, not sure about the 100 vs 200 tho

Dark circle counters flutist on battle step when navigation summons magician on chain link 2 though, I got baited by this so many times
That's when you better have a sphere kuri or kiteroid. And also 2 lava golems. I've destroyed and made a lot of dark magician decks quit. I would bait them to bring it out early and make them regret life quickly.

@@hecatrice2064 nothing! Because I learned that there are some decks that try to make you mill your deck. Those that love using Odion and Marik (I'm sure I'm messing up there names) tend to use that worm where if you destroy it several of your cards get sent to the grave. 8 hate decking out if I'm not suppose to deck out. So I stopped using 20 card decks a long time ago. I tend to do 23 card decks. 3 extra cards to ease my mind. Not only that it throws them off and makes the opponent assume I'm using something else.

For anyone having problems with this deck, hyper psychic riser is available with sr tickets for free and stops super heavy samurai completely if you summon it

ilmao I saw some guy play hyper psychic riser in ranked months ago and I ever since then I threw it in every deck that could summon him easily, underrated card that has a low profile.
Samurai destroyer stop any super heavy samurais from attacking it.

DKayed, why haven't you made a video for Jack and Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Bane? Blends seamlessly with Assault Mode deck, and skill Might of the King makes Assault Mode deck soooo much better. Return your Assault Mode monster back to deck for a 1 in 3 chance to grab a Harpie's Feather Duster.

In my personal opinion: I think it is good that the effect of the skill lasts until the end of the opponent’s turn unlike the old Beatdown. This skill used for boosting up your monster’s defense for better survivability and it would be pointless if the effect of the skill lasts until the end of your turn. Whats broken is the mathematical error and they should fix it.

I completely stopped using Flutist because theirs a lot of stuff that doesn't target. I don't negate any opponents plays. This way opponents have certain moves that are meaningless.
If Ninja is destroyed by an affect it doesn't care.
I use 3 Gigagloves and 3 Drum for protection and recovery. Spirit decks will still probably beat you because of graveyard removal.
Go 2, 2,2 for Ogre, Ninja, Mushashi 3 is unnecessary. Maybe switch out a Ninja for one you like.
2 Ogres are actually pretty essential.
Great move is attaching a duel horns then detaching it, equipping it with a Soulpiercer then reattaching it.
(Destroys Soulpiercer for a free search)
One Soul horns is enough. It's easy to search and drawing into more then one will hurt you.
yeah the problem with flutist is also that you want to have it in the grave before doing any plays, so going second and it gets flipped down or banished on summon you can neither synchro nor negate anything, super heavy frustration.
I don't see how the drum does anything though
There is a huge problem when playing vs witchcrafter you can't attack when he use his madam effect

there's a lot of popular cards this deck instaloses to. crystron impact, floodgate, canadia, molehu, necrovalley, kiteroid, blue-eyes spirit dragon, dark magician going 1st or with kycoo or night's end, the subterror combo that makes you miss timing and much more that you have no out to.
I climbed to kog last month using this archetype exclusively but nowadays the entire meta counters it.
I would rather get cyber steined than sitting through this combo of the must uncool looking samurais...
They are goofy but they send kids back to fortnite while you laugh at them

@@SK-id2is 1 main problem is Giga gloves, atk directly and make ur monster zero atk pts, next is one synchro I forgot the name but when its destroyed it can summon back on the field during standby phase with 2800 defense which is on par with Cyber Twin and higher than Chimeratech Rampage, and that monster can atk directly for half

To be honest, I feel like it's a translation error. If it were only 100x the turn, then that's pretty weak imo, especially if it's only your turn, and only once.
This is the translate error, chinese version says x200 until the end of next turn. However the chinese version of no mortal can resist says turn monsters in gy to skull for BOTH players wtf.....

Not true! You don't need the skill, heavy samurais are a very VERY good deck. Only thing DK missing from the deck is Lava Golem. 2 of them. Just to piss them off.

@@JLedSnap Don't get me wrong, the skill is good. But it's not like No mortal can resist. That skill I can say is abused and needs to be fixed. Mokuba and Sara skill can only be used once. And you can punish it if the player don't know any better. You can banish, the attacking monster or use kite to punish them. Not only that if you use krawlers, the boss krawler can negate the monsters. You can even use certain trap cards that can banish all of their tuner cards. The deck is good but it has several weaknesses.

Super heavy samurai is easily exploitable by me. I either banish stealth ninja with time magic hammer equipped to Spirit Dragon or I destroy it with a monster suped up by Black Dragon sword.

this is a surprisingly cheap deck. I'm free to play and got lucky and have all these cards minus one soul crossbow
@@RoboRobotnik I wouldn't say Superheavy Samurai is cheap, but its definitely not expensive either. While the super optimized version isn't cheap, the hit to the deck's consistency by playing less of the SR and UR cards is a lot smaller than when compared to other decks.

What's the counter?
@@salehhomed697 anything that negates monster effects when you attack. Aromage Rosemary, some ancient gears, Armades. If they can't activate gigagloves or kiteroid, it's pretty easy to overwhelm this deck.
I've been a regular Duel Links player for almost 2 years now. I've seen the meta change over the years and the game evolve. But from day 1, I had one major complaint with this game : the ridiculous and totally broken skill system. Simply put, I hate skills! I think we would be better off without them. Sure, some of them are fun : they give a minor advantage to the player and remind us of the anime series. But most of the time, skills tend to change the outcome of a duel and spread throughout the meta like cancer. Just think of No mortal can resist....Seriously, what the f*** Konami? With so many graveyard based decks (Shiranui, Lightsworm, Thunder Dragons, Vendread and so on), that skill is just idiotic. Even more ridiculous : I don't think that there is a single card in the game that is as powerful as that stupid skill that everyone is abusing right now. When at the end of the day, the outcome of a duel is decided not by strategy, nor a good deck planification, but by a simple skill that anyone can pull off so easily, it's the reason why I quit playing this game so many times throughout those 2 years. Konami is reacting too slowly with he nerfing of problematic skills and that just ruins the fun and I would even say the fairness of this game that has so much potentiel...

Skills are nerfed in conjunction. They will nerf both, or they’ll just fix the text on defense charge, which is most likely since the skill isn’t that powerful
Ninja might be safe from overflow but turn 3 they already have on set and will hit your lv 5 so your left with a trumpeter and no normal
I’m taking a break until Konami steps up and takes control of their game. Having zero fun these days and that’s the reason I play games in my free time

Its just a degenerate card. I have no problem beating the deck, but it makes it so games last so much longer. They usually are in an unwinnable game state, and I just have to wait until I draw disruption cards to attack and counter their play next turn, hince and repeat for every glove in the graveyard
Just negate it with be spirit dragon :)
Mete Snsr of course, if you play blue eyes, invoked or DM with nights end sorcerer it is easy, but most other meta decks have no option but stall it out.

I love this deck but Jesus Christ is it difficult when your opponent has a bunch of backrow and dumb decks that have multiple banishes, destroy effects, etc etc. Damn these xyz's! I know they're amazing but I don't wanna play them. There's no finesse!

This deck is easy to counter. Those who said this deck is broken don't know about this deck. This deck is much weaker than any meta decks like DM, shiranui, blackwing, cyber dragon (unless those who rely only to chimeratech and cyber twin)

Before I used this deck I was stuck on platinum rank 2 with a red eyes deck
And now I’m 1 rank away from legend
Only problem is when I use literally any other deck I instinctively put the cards in defense position which fu*ks me over

Not screwed, I've done well with level augmentation, just play an extra wall. 2 wall and soul horns with stealth ninja will take out all their life points, barring life point boost skills.

When I use stealth ninja I activate his skill to reduce halve def, but it won't attack my opponent directly. Do I need a specific card to allow him to attack directly?
DaBeat 15 when attacking in battle phase you have to switch the red arrow over away from the monster and to the life points arrow

Michael Walandow because they are misplaying. They should summon a cyber end, then stall until they clear your board and then have enough fusions out to kill you considering the glove in the grave

Michael Walandow there is a big chance cydras will be hit on this banlist though. Besides, the fusion gate box is really bad so wait until there is a half gem sale of at least until the new banlist
