1st... At the start I said, it's not too early, it's August, that's close enough to Christmas.
That is My Best Attempt Ever @ This Song on Bass Guitar & up from 98.2% accuracy.
A couple times in there you might notice me making odd faces and saying things to myself about what's going on. In these low tuning schemes it's very hard to keep the sound where it's tolerable. The bass may be way too loud and start clicking. That's really not hard to have happen. If I turn it down too much it doesn't pick up the notes some of the time. It's very difficult to balance. I'm finding that in this song. Especially on the top string at 1 or 2 fret positions. Getting that is a craps shoot. I'm sort of walking on egg shells so to speak while playing those and you might be able to see my tensely watching the notes to see if it's hitting. I have to watch because most of the time it's too subtle to hear. So it's hard to hear but it'll show up on my score and that will drive me insane.
I love Sabaton... I have 7 bands who are all "My Favorite Band" and Sabaton is one of them... Military History is kind of an Obsession for me... It has been for a very long time... To tell a true story with a Metal song makes these guys my f*****g Heroes!
However... This story told... This true story here... It made me think... I'm sorry but if you were just killing my friends yesterday, the day before, the day before that, and all the while trying to kill me too... There will be NO TRUCE for any holiday or any reason at all... Once you've tried to kill me we cannot ever be friends... There is no turning back from that... I've been described as a lot of things but forgiving is not one of them. Not ever, not for me, I'm not wired like that... It won't turn out well...
