📝Basic information:
About my work - I remove beaver dams when I receive an order from a state organization.
I do not choose which dam to remove. It is decided by officials at the request of nearby residents. Each dam is assessed in advance if it can and if should be dismantled.
Removing the dam is not a threat to beavers. I do not remove their houses - lodges.
Dams are removed only in places where beavers cause damage, for example by flooding nearby fields, flooding the basements of nearby houses, or when the stream on which beavers built their dam is degraded.
Even though beavers are very invasive animals, they are under strict protection in our country.
I personally like all animals, so beavers are fine too.

Witam Maciej, not only “an endless amount of branches and sticks”, but `fighting a giant python ´ (starting 01:21:00), too. Also first time we somewhat didn’t see you smiling while doing the job; how comes 😉? Ok, ok, before you start throwing sticks at me 🤕: this was really very though work 💪on this beaver’s pool. The dam itself was kind of masterpiece on its own, and also noted how the beavers made smart use of the vertical trunks (like the tree & that `python´ one) and even seem to have hardened the banks on both sides.
Your comment “good warm-up in the morning” appears to be `Polish understatement´ here - and slightly amused about that siren's check we heard at some point. Pozdrawiam serdecznie!
Wow! That dam looked to be a solid 2 meters thick, maybe more. Whatever you got paid for that job, it wasn't enough! Good job.

It depends on the job. Generally, episodes are not added chronologically, I just post whatever I feel like. Sometimes these are current episodes, and sometimes they are from 3 years ago 😉🦫

When you cut the tree growing from the dam, it left a perfect stake to be impaled on. A while later, you even stumbled as you walked towards it!! 😱 Haven't you ever seen Final Destination?! Lol 😅 The rational side of me knew you didn't impale yourself. Otherwise, the title and thumbnail would have been much different. 😅😮 But, my anxiety wasn't paying attention to logic. 😅 I was absolutely relieved when you finally pulled it out and tossed it up on the bank! 😰😮💨 Be careful out there, my friend!

Hi friend you could make a bonfire with the amount on that dam burn it then they cannot use it in reserve..loll..john. England. u.k...we don't have beavers I think.? only in Scotland I think.?.
These trees were willows from a nearby plantation, so they would be chopped down for firewood anyway.
I have no idea what the beaver population is like in the UK, so I can't answer these questions for you.

There was a fuel willow plantation next to it. These trees are planted in thousands and after a few years they are cut down and chipped for firewood, so there is nothing to worry about 😉
