FAQs/Why would they do that?! Answers
We are so glad you are here! Welcome to our channel!
1. We are in Oklahoma near the Arkansas border.
2. We do this on a volunteer basis.
3. Kim aka Mom is retired. Jennifer owns her own business as a massage therapist.
4. We film multiple locations in one day since we can’t go out all the time given Jen’s full time job. You may not see all the locations we filmed that day in one video.
5. You may see other people in our videos at times including Granny aka Sue (mom’s mom), Jeff (Kim’s husband and Jennifer’s dad), or Jessica (Jennifer’s little sister) and Lucy (our beautiful, amazing, wonderful dog).
6. Many wonder why we put stuff down culverts. A few reasons: it provides help for wildlife, we like to and it would have gone downstream anyway. If it blocks another culvert then we will take care of that too but most of the locations we visit are in incredibly rural areas where there won’t be another culvert for miles.
7. We care about wildlife and never want to cause harm to them. The only reason we will clear a beaver damn is if it is threatening land or roads that can not be accessed any other way. It may not be the road directly within sight but a farm road close by.
8. We appreciate advice in the comments. We understand that we will receive constructive criticism in the comments. What we won’t allow is the calling of names, derogatory terms, or just plain calling us stupid or idiots. We are all adults here and the internet is already a largely negative place as it is, let’s not add to it. We are people doing our best to help our neighborhood and planet by picking up trash and clearing culverts. Why do we deserve hate for that?
9. You may not agree with or like the way we did something but that doesn’t mean we did it wrong. There is a right/wrong way to dismantle a bomb. Clearing culverts is up for interpretation to the one doing the work.
10. We hope that you enjoy our videos and will keep coming back for more! Any other questions you have feel free to ask in the comments.

Yay! I was worried about you guys because of the tornados!
Thank you for coming back and cutting up that tree! It bothered me last time that you didn’t 🤣
Another great video. Have you considered numbering the culvert locations so we can say, oh yeah I remember that one and then you have a yearly look at the differences in them. Keep up the good work.
Amazing work, I never miss a video from your channel, they provide a lot of satisfaction.
You were hard-working again and brave in the muddy water. Your Mom went into the swampy pond at the end.
Love watching the water starting to flow freely
Jennifer, you’re such a show off…😂 lifting that log with one hand. I wouldn’t want to mess with you❣️ A lot of messed up culverts in this video. Good job you two! 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻

I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO ladies 😊
Great job as always!
Thank you for the video.
Hi have you thought about keeping a personal map of all the culverts and bridges you visit with colour coding and date to say when you last visited….
Aloha 🌺 WOW! That was Awesome! 🌺🥰
Good work ladies North Carolina cares
I don’t think that any of us know what “mama’s” name is! We obviously know Jeff and Jennifer.
Mom and I think alike, I would have moved those small rocks with my foot too😂
I often wonder if having a pry bar with you would help bend some of the damaged culverts.
Thanks for the videos, I love seeing people using their time wisely, and y’all are doing an amazing service!
Her name is Kim
nicely done
First! 👋 from Germany
Gut gemacht :)
Well done, ladies! I love watching your videos ❤
♥️
those particular culverts were put in too shallow or they had eroded sub soil bed
Love watching your video's
Probably been asked before but what snakes do you get in your area
Cottonmouth and copperhead
Sub, friends. These fine ladies need our support. Like and subscribe. But they get all the fun. Love ya'll.
Why do I duck EVERY time you put the camera into the culvert? haha
The reason why the culverts seem high is because, by removing rocks in front of the culverts, water runs faster, causing erosion.
I will agree with this, but by watching post10 as well sometimes areas will set 1 culvert higher than another as an overflow type of system. Perhaps that was the way or you may be correct on the rock aspect.
You may have answered this elsewhere but do you report the damaged culverts to your local DoT?
No we don’t
Your potato rakes are a great tool but please when you put them on the ground face those sharp tines DOWN. With all the slippery scenes you have around you I would hate to see you get impaled by your own fault!😢
I've mentioned tool safety to them several times. Hard to break bad habits.
Unfortunately, there is no way to get from Russia to Oklahoma right now, but I really want to help you.
At 15:23 if the level of water on both sides is the same, there will be no flow.
like
Use the handle of the rake? You all broke the handle on last rake using it that way.
Could you please tell me what the two cutters are and brand names.
a.co/d/e3SGnMQ. From Amazon and the chainsaw is a stihl
If you had to choose one would it be the cutter or chainsaw? Thanks.
I was going to ask the same thing! I need one of those! 🙂
Good question. I use the cutters more often but sometimes for bigger branches you need the chainsaw
Used to love watching y’all’s videos she always made sure you picked up the trash. You always made sure the covert were clean and you gave it a good Hardy effort if you didn’t or couldn’t get it cleaned at least try to anymore. You just give up on it let the trash go down the thing And the repeating of the video after we’ve already watched it. I don’t understand that.
If we picked up every piece of trash we saw that’s all we would ever do. The south is littered quite literally with garbage everywhere. We don’t have room in the truck for it all. Our q&a video we released this month gives more detail on that. As for the repeating video, lots of people said that they liked to see a recap of the exit footage. So I made it bigger and sped it up. Can’t please everyone but we try to make it enjoyable for as many as possible.
Sad you are starting to let garbage go down the water ways. You used to be great about it.
Can’t catch em all.
What part of the state are you in?
southeastern corner
🪷 Hi another very nice video. Thanks so much ladys.
