It is too bad she died before the Jeffersons was over.
She was in her late 80's when she died, so she probably wouldn't have been around by the time the show ended, because it ran for eleven years.
@@jamesorsby7553 Crazy!! She was born in 1892!! I wonder if in the 2070's when someone is 86, will they think the same way about someone born in 1992? LOL. We think of 1892 and we think "before electricity, tv, radio and cars". Someone from 1992 will think, "that was before the internet and AI!" lol.
I love Mother Jefferson. What a great character! ❤😂
Great casting all around. One of my favorite shows ever!
She had no problem telling it like it was!...😂
Florence the maid was a riot too!
The Jeffersons was absolutely wonderful and divine picture on television, I watch the rebroadcasts on occasion.
The late Alvin Childress was a GREAT ACTOR. For all who may not know, he also played on the sitcom Amos & Andy" in the 50s. May he R.I.P. 6/9/24.
That's Rev. Trimbull from Sanford and Son.
Alvin Childress died April 9, 1986.
@@KristinapediaLucky man, he did not live to see what Democrats have turned America into.
Perfect cast, perfect show.
He fell asleep at the movies. Shame on you Louise.
Mother Jefferson was a hoot. She loved Weezy but was disappointed big time in her own son 🤣😂🤣

“You gotta job?” HA!! That had me screaming. 😅
Lol... Mother Jefferson was a trip. She had already got Herbert to go to bed with her and afterwards, he fell asleep.
He fell asleep at the movies. Shame on you.
@@Asukenick Lol... Yeah, I guess so.
@@jamesorsby7553 That's what she says to Louise after.
How do you know that he snores, Mother Jefferson??!!! Naughty, naughty!! 🤯😂😂
That line was genius! So subtle and then hilarious 😂
Mother was definitely not a saint. Regardless of her age she's continue to have game with the men
I think he fell asleep in a movie theater.
Yeah it sounded like she had been getting her freak on. Lol 8/6/24
Shame weezy can't believe her ears
Perhaps. Rev Gordon from Good Times
If I am not mistaken Alvin Childress also played in the sitcom "Amos & Andy" in the early 50s. He was a GREAT ACTOR. May he R.I.P. 6/9/24
That's Rev. Trimbull from Sanford and Son. He played in two or three episodes or something like that.
I presume he was the church reverend on Good Times ages ago.
@@TrinityDivineMozart Good Times didn't have a church reverend. Maybe your confusing with some other show.
@@Palmetto-JI remember at least three times a Pastor was on the show. James found some money and the Pastor wanted a donation to the Church. I’m not sure if it was same actor. Thelma had a Church wedding but I don’t think it was the same actor. When James died I believe a Pastor visited.
Is he the same guy that appeared on Sanford and son twice
Reverend Trimble.
George was born in 1929
I didn't get this. So what if he snores?
She was insinuating that they have already slept together, without even actually coming out in saying it. LMBO. 6/9/24.
Lol...Mother Jefferson put it on him, and he couldn't handle it. He had to take a nap afterwards.
@@jamesorsby7553 oh that's what it meant? 🤢 I'm gonna be sick.
@@rogercook8277 Silly me. I was thinking maybe they were together playing bingo and he just happened to have fallen asleep afterwards. 🤷🏾
@@Palmetto-J He fell at the movies.
