Loved catching up with you and loved seeing you again at the Mira retreat! I know I was there yet I still really enjoyed seeing all the clips you recorded😍
Thank you so much for taking t8me to film at the retreat. I appreciate it a lot. I’m living vicariously through those who get to attend retreats. Hopefully one year soon I’ll make it over from Ireland to go to one. Such beautiful stitching!
Thank you so much for sharing this! What a glorious display of gorgeous needlework. The ones at 18:29-18:44 are from designer Brooke Nolan. She has an Etsy page and has some really wonderful designs, of which I have stitched many. How she charts the eyes of people is my favorite ever.
I love your elephant finish! I have the polar bear, pattern, so I need to get the elephant to go with it, too. Thanks for filming at the retreat. I love to see everyone's work. In the Christmas book, I would start #4 first. I love the reindeer.
Thank you so much for filming the Mirabilia Retreat !! Everything is gorgeous ! Often I find myself not really interested in a chart until I see it stitched. I'm always amazed at the stitching from any retreat. Happy stitching.......Pam
Looks like a fabulous retreat, I can’t wait to go on my first retreat next year. So you know where that cross stitch log book was from originally, I’d love to get my hands on something like that! ☺️
instagram.com/gabrisstitches?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= there doesn't seem to be any branding on it but if you ask Gabriela she is sure to know since it's from her 🙂 x
How amazing! I would love to know more about this retreat - who runs it? Is there a group to join where we can get info on the next one? Manchester is an easy flight for me and I'm dying to see all these Miras in real life! Thanks for the amazing review❤
Also could you share again where you got your Mira kits from? I couldn’t quite catch it. It would be handy to get everything in one place. And the fancy lady name is pronounced like ‘Per-sef-ony’ I’m sure.
Love outlander ♥️ I can't think of one off the top of my head that has a dress quite that shape. I guess you could look through all of them on the Mirabilia website and maybe adapt a pattern? And colour conversion. Not sure I'm brave enough but there are some amazing conversions and adaptations by people, there's an entire Facebook group facebook.com/groups/230517053788886/?ref=share
My boyfriend happened to watch some of this and commented on how nice the fancy ladies were. He never reacts to cross-stitch. Now I am wondered whether to do a fancy lady. They have never appealed to me due to the size and the beads
I was the same being a bit apprehensive about the beading but it's actually really fun. If you get a bit tired of stitching you can switch to doing a bit of the beading for a change and to keep your interest and it's not difficult, you just attach each bead either with a half stitch of a full cross stitch. Half stitch they will lie at an angle, full cross pulls them to lie straight ☺️
Fabulous treat of a video Mirabilia / Nora tour. Thank you so much. Happy stitching!
Hi Adam .... Glad you are feeling better Lauren.. I used to live in Market Harborough so not to far away from the retreat...

When I buy them already kitted it's from Zarina at Hawkins Hobbies, you can find their page on Instagram 🙂
A Nora lover ... is there one that would respesent Clare from outlander show in her red dress?
