These are beautiful boots. That stitch down that transitions into a Blake stitch on the midsole is completely different from anything I've seen done before. Very interesting and clever.

I agree. This video has enabled me to resole Origin boots. I've turned two pairs away because I really thought that they couldn't be resoled. Watching him hand-stitch the waist and heel satisfied my curiosity. Still, the cost to resole that construction would approach, and probably even exceed, the cost of the boots.

Vegtan of sorts, chrome tan doesn’t wet mold really. Good luck

@@TYRONICAL23 yep I guessed that, but there's something fat on the leather it gets clearer when bent ... also that orange haze is quite caracteristic of that kind of leather but I don't know how it's called :P

@@OwlingBishop crazy horse leather.Cow hide with a wax finish (different to pull up leather that has a oil finish)

If they don't have a steel toe they aren't work boots.

if you are e.g. a gardener, a luthier, a smith or a bootmaker you also need some good work boots. what you don't need is a steel toe^^
