Yup. Couldn’t agree more. I love all his videos. Only thing is, the parts @wildlifemoto uses are made in the UK, some ship worldwide, and some don’t 😫.
@@SrinivasGanesh I wanted to do this mod to mine too, I found someone in India who does sell this... Only to find that just the throttle tube will cost 22500 INR. Which is more than 200 EUR. Forget about the switch and cables and all, just the throttle tube kit. 😔
Amazing video. Just seeing that 1 hour after order a custom switch. And from looking at this I don’t think I need to order cables with the throttle tube
I won't tell you enough but...I love you Wildlife !! This series was a GREAT idea and I'm sure it will inspire and create a lot of R.E Interceptors modded...(starting with my own) Huge Kiss from France !
You need a ferrule or cable housing cap where throttle cables housing goes into adjuster at bottom end. That will correct housing alignment and make for a smoother cable operation and less cable wear.
Great channel and helped with my gt no end...I ordered the 70• threaded throttle ferrule listed as "Triumph" from venhill and they are perfect match for the original bends. Not been as successful as you with my cable ends lol..got the same solder set up as you for making them but only some practices worked ...not had the nerve to do the completed cables yet! Keep up the good work 👍
Thanks for the detailed video on this. I just wondering. It looks like the stock accelerator cables can be also used with this Domino XM2 throttle mechanism. Am I right? ;)
Thanks for the vid on this! Where did you get your hands on that white connector? Or did you remove that from the stock one? I'm needing to tidy up the controls on my bike, among other things.
I also forgot to ask if the throttle controls came with a mounting lug for pinning them onto the bars. (That safety bit that you need to drill into the handlebars for)
Would you have a link to the kit you bought? I've googled for the XM2 and looks like you have to buy the cables and cable runner pack seperatley... was interested in if you managed to get a complete kit as a single item?
Hey man , shall I put grip glue on throttle grips or just use some spray that dries up like wd40 ?? BTW super helpful video... got the same for my 650 twin
Hi i have interceptor with 900mm bars so i already have long cables do you know if i get just the xm2 throttle will the cable lugs i.e the ones coming out of the throttle fit on the donimo one as i am trying to do the same as you get rid of the big plastic housing and put on nicer switchgear many thanks paul p.s your vids are great for us newbes

HI, Great video lots of good information. how can i order these parts. any website or store information can help me get the good product. thanks in advance!
Thank you. I guess you could always have it powder coated. I’m not going to keep the grips on the bike, although they are great quality (bit to modern looking). Levers are from Tec Bike Parts
@@WildlifeMoto Hi, today I successfully installed the XM2 throttle (white ring) in the original switch gear/throttle-unit: it was a bit fiddly, had to work on the XM2 and on the original throttle so that both fitted together. It's work but it's possible. I wanted the fast action throttle but didn't want it to be recognizable as an item from a different manufacturer. I tested the white ring on a ride afterwards and it works perfectly. Very happy. THANK you VERY MUCH for the lead re. XM2. Best regards, Hermann
@@WildlifeMoto ok thanks I'll look at that I did follow your series of mods, although I may not go that far I like the look as is with a few changes. Scorpion exhaust and air filter so far. Thanks for your time and effort 👍.
@Wildlife Moto - I would really appreciate if you could tell me the overall length of the complete throttle body assembly ? (right from the part where the grip starts till the domino branding on the throttle body which houses the control rings). Am working on a custom project and want to factor in the required clearances before I begin drilling holes to accommodate the rest (switches, brake masters etc.), the handlebar too is custom
@@WildlifeMoto amazing, thank you so much ! Much appreciated ! Have ordered the venhill cable clutch to go with the RCS15 and TWM control module, am hoping it is slightly longer than the stock ... Maybe I will build a replica of your bike out here, same color might I add 😎
Nope, because you have a hole in those stock bars and a pin in the switchgear (I had previously removed that pin when I changed my bars). You'll need to fully unscrew it an open it up to release the pin.
Wildlife Moto. / DOH, completely my bad! Realised 5 minutes after my message. Waited for your response before I profusely apologise! Sorry! Your the man! Went into panic mode before thinking! Really enjoying your interceptor series, keep going! Just finished the handlebars thanks for the inspiration!
Love your journey with the Int 650 and thanks for bringing us along... One question - according the Scorpion Red Power website, they do not offer exhausts for Royal Enfields. Where did you manage to obtain the pipes you put on, and were they originally designed for another bike? Cheers
Hi Mark, thanks for watching. I ordered them through my RE dealer, but they are also sold here accessories.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/accessory-shop/Silencers-Only/42342
Have Domino XM2 on order with new switch gears from Remmotocycle both sides doesn't look too bad of a job to do probably watch this video when it arrives. I agrees stock switch gears are to bulky and too much plastic for me.

Is the throttle quicker action, in that there is less twisting needed?
Yes. You can also use the different colour rings to change the action.
which wire length did you order? 590mm or 1.00mm? Cause they have 2 versions that look the same as yours.
The killing switch comes from Domino as well?
Yes. Start and kill in the same unit
