    Thanks for putting this guide together. I was able to able to change my handlebars and heated grips over on my Interceptor thanks to your videos. Saved me a whole lot of pain after following another video to attempt to remove a heated grip with a screw driver and lube.

    Thank you for making this! I'm getting ready to swap the Baak tracker bars onto my bike and this makes me feel a lot better about doing it

    THANK YOU! Perfect timing!
    I have new bars, switches, throttle, clutch lever, grips and mirrors ready to go on my 🍊 Interceptor and wasn't sure about some of the steps.
    Your videos are so clear and helpful. Today I installed an LED headlight ... after watching your video first of course.

      @Neo Anderson That's awesome. I'm glad the videos help. I got the new bars mocked up today. Putting them on is a little different than taking them off. That's why I broke the video into two parts. Mainly, if you haven't already, you'll soon find out you have to drill holes in the top of the bars for the switch modules to recess in. It's not that bad. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.

    I'm glad you're getting started on the scrambler build. I'm excited to see how you do it

      @FirePhoenix Thank you very much. I've ordered all the parts for the build minus the exhaust and wheels. Haven't decided on the wheels and don't need the exhaust just yet. I'm still waiting on most of the parts but I have a few things to keep me busy. Finding a tuning that keeps the engine happy will probably be the toughest part of it all. That, and finding some of the special tools needed to get the engine apart and reassembled. I'm super excited about this project though. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.

    Oh my god thanks so much for this video series. I need to swap out my bent handlebars and don't feel comfortable riding to a shop so I wanted to DIY it. Very informative AND well shot detailing the process for a total noob like me, you're amazing.

    Fitted flat bars today, bit fiddly , stock bars weighed a ton! .... I managed not to have to disassemble the throttle cables,.... Great step by step guide, cheers 👍

    Sorry to have to say, but there's absolutely no need to undo the throttle cables, you could have just un-done the centre bolts holding the bar's on,
    To give you the room you needed,
    Then just slid off the throttle assembly in one piece ,
    You could have done the same with the clutch cable 👍
    Cheers Paul Foster

      @paulfoster5432 Thanks for the comment. As I've said before, everything I do is from the service manual. Even if there's an easier way, I take the extra steps so people can see how the bike is put together. Also, with the lower bars, I had to change to shorter cables so they wouldn't bind up. I show that in another video. Thanks for watching.

    Can you remove the throttle assembly without taking everything completely apart? Im confused as to why you disconnected the cables just to swap bars?

    • @my-enfield612
      @my-enfield612  Рік тому

      @Chance Kaiden Thanks for the comment. You can open the throttle assembly but the cables are pulled tight so you can't get them off the throttle rotor without releasing tension at the throttle body. I have had some people mention they took the bars off first and slid the controls off. I don't support that though. The way I do things has the least chance of error (hitting, or scratching tank, etc.) Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.

    Very clear and in-depth, thank you. You didn't mention anything about the locaton pegs in switchgear and their respective holes in bars. I may be wrong but I think the int 650 has those. Can you comment on this?

    Is there some kind of shim underneath the clutch holder/bracket between it and the Baars? I bought the Baak tracker bar kit and the clutch holder/bracket is loose, even when tightened down all the way

      @Neo Anderson lol I want to put it out later today, or tomorrow at the latest. Headed to mom's for Thanksgiving and gonna edit the video over there. I wish I could get things out quicker but I'm working two jobs right now and it's killing me. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.

    Will you be adding risers at this time?

    • @my-enfield612
      @my-enfield612  2 роки тому

      @Jay Patel No sir. I decided not to go with the risers. Instead, I went with the S&S handlebar adjusters. They let you move the bars closer to you up to 1 inch but keep the stock height. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.

    All I ever do to take a throttle off it to undo the bars and then slid it off slid it back on the new bars easy

      @garryphillips378 Thanks for the comment. Everything I do is straight from the service manual. Even if there's an easier way, I still go through all the steps so people can see how the bike is put together. Thanks for watching.

      This is exactly what I have put in comment,
      Sorry to this Chap, but he made the job a lot harder not unbolting the bars first before the cable's?
