That’s my understanding as well, the statute of limitations for assault is passed so he cannot be criminally charged. Thankfully at least she won her civil case and I hope that can bring her some solace. I am also sure that it’s hurtful to see her trauma being played out in public eye, but at the same time must feel good that some of her detractors are eating their words.
The statute of limitations is up because it’s more than 7 years. He’s not going to be charged for abusing Cassie unless a more recent video occurs. If he gets charged it will be for other cases that’s being sort against him.
