Same with public cameras, yes, it's being recorded, but unless something was filed and they have to produce it, it's just there in archives. Now, no idea how they got this tape. Many recordings are deleted after 90 days. Its so freaking expensive to keep videos, we are talking about gigabytes worth of storage. My ignorant guess is, it was recovered from Diddy. He secured the tape when it happened. No hotel is storing video data from 10 years ago. Only safe place is the cloud and it's just not economical for them to do that. AWS storage ain't cheap.

@@abennett3118 there are thousands of hours being recorded. Unless someone officially made a complaint, it was probably just sitting in their archives. Same with public cameras, yes, it's being recorded, but unless something was filed and they have to produce it, it's just there in archives.
Now, no idea how they got this tape. Many recordings are deleted after 90 days. Its so freaking expensive to keep videos, we are talking about gigabytes worth of storage. My ignorant guess is, it was recovered from Diddy. He secured the tape when it happened. No hotel is storing video data from 10 years ago. Only safe place is the cloud and it's just not economical for them to do that. AWS storage ain't cheap.
