My jaw dropped, I couldn't believe it. I expected it from any other child star but not Brandis. I was so shocked I stood there infront of the shelf with the teen mag on, for like 10 minutes, completely paralyzed. And after all the years I'm still sad about it and it feels like as if it was just yesterday I saw that headline. What a loss. That dude is truly missed. RIP Jon

I know that people don't need reason to end their lives but at the same time, if they want to go, it's not like we can pressure them into the opposite ....

If someone talks about committing suicide over and over again like he did I would take it seriously . I would intervene and try to get them help. I was devastated to find out about the suicide, baffled as to how he could see no other way out of his depression. He was a very important figure in my adolescence, and I was blown away. What a loss...

as he got older he became a heavy drinker and also became very depressed about his career. he had a scene in the movie HARTS WAR, which he thought would be his comeback but the scene was cut from the film and that pushed him over the edge which led to him hanging himself. so sad. he was great.
