Jay always does a nice intro; and nice to hear this axe set with a bit less treble than usual. I love the way these old pickguards shrink away from the pickup covers, leaving a small gap. And Aaron's playing is extra outstanding on this one! This Strat sounds fab and looks just as good!
"re-everythinged" is the word we like to use for choppers like this...whats up bro? still loving that 50 watt paul allen plexi i bought from you lads...your pal, Uncle Larry
I had a 1965 like this..... L series I think.... Amazing pickups.... Instant Knopfler!..... Sold it when I needed the wonga..... One of my many regrets!!
I seldom comment. He won't say it but I can because it's a good story. He won the Seattle Guitar Center regional final "King of the blues" contest 3 times when he was growing up. They flew him to Chicago, Los Angeles and San Diego where he lost in the finals each time. Interesting backstory is every single winner in the finals was a local guy from that Guitar Center. In the LA contest one of the judges came out afterward and told Aaron he was robbed. This video was back in 2010 at the Seattle finals. ua-cam.com/video/AMRWV-HFefM/v-deo.html
You won’t see and hear anything more beautiful today...
Or the next day…
Aaron is just great, his playing is the best.
Everytime, Aaron's jamming something different yet equally inspirational. Unreal

💪🏽Dudes a bad ass on guitar!
i was lucky enough to own a 62 Strat and I know they didn't come with a five position pickup selector.
Crazy how different the Color’s age my 1960 sonic blue looks totally different
which speakers on vibrolux?
Excalibur?
0:45 'original 5-way switch'? really? in 1962?
Think he misspoke, looks like it's a 3 way on the guitar when I saw Aaron switching.
Is aaron hiebert famous? He should be.

@@gbhstrat1 Thank you!
5 way switch is not original for 1962
That’s a 3 way switch, he just said it wrong.
@@davidkillian215 👍
A little bit dark this one....might benefit for a shim....very deep pocket.
A 62 with a 5 way switch?......you messed it up by putting the 5 way.they came out with a 3 way.
I could careless about the year of a guitar or where it's made a great guitar is a great guitar ..I do like the MIA and MIM Fenders the best
